Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
So what happened to Harry Kane after the Colombia match? Was he even playing? Yeah, that's erm, thats not working. I'm being serious - what happened to him? He was anonymous in the semi-final. The ABE thing comes of as deeply insecure and pointless https://media.giphy.com/media/3oz8xLd9DJq2l2VFtu/g...

Sorry mate, it's coming home!
I would say the next time Scotland reach the finals of a major football tournament the England fans on here could do the same with their sigs but well, you know...

Lol. Sorry, I meant to type "took place in New Japan" as in the company, not the country. My bad.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Anybody seen Cody vs Omega? From the sounds of it sounds like a meltzer 5* match (he has been pretty generous with his ratings as of late). I've downloaded the G1 Special today so gonna watch it tomorrow, even though I already know a little about the post-match shenanigans :) Meltzer probably did g...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
VAR cam work if the ref sticks to his convictions and tells gobby players to fuck off or they risk being booked. The problem last night was the ref was just giving in to the pressure of players being whiney bitches

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
I thought about posting something along the lines of 'Don't cry for me Argentina' but after seeing the wonderful footage of Maradona bawling his eyes out, that fat cunt can cry me a river all night long

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Yeah I've seen that Meltzer is indeed calling it the greatest match ever and as good as it was it isn't a match I'm itching to immediately watch again unlike some other matches I've seen this year or even like with previous Okada vs. Omega matches. I'm sure Meltzer will further break the 5 star sys...

Re: The Wrestling Thread
I was only there for the Saturday so I only saw one of the NXT shows (the earlier one) and it was pretty good. Velveteen Dream is excellent at working the crowd and from what I saw of the signings, is 100% committed to his gimmick which is refreshing to see these days. I watched Dominion on the Sund...

Re: The Wrestling Thread
I'm sure they did that in part because of the ITV wrestling show that is starting soon. Will be interesting what that ITV show is actually going to be like. Is Regal moving across to run the UK arm now as well? If it's anything like that show they tried on NYE in 2016(I think?) then I don't think W...

Re: The Voting Age
Whether the voting age was lowered or not, I'd support having political studies taught as part of the national curriculum in high school so at least when those people do get to voting age they've got some basic understanding of the differences between the main parties and the ways in which governmen...

Re: The Voting Age
I'd stop people voting after they retire. They're no longer contributing to society just sucking money out, have freebies in bus passes and are too old and bigoted to make an informed decision. I don't agree but it's an interesting way to turn Gandalf's ageist, "kids these days blah blah blah&...

16. If you're old enough to enter the employment market and pay tax and NI then you should get a say in voting for the people who will make decisions that directly affect the labour market and also how that tax & NI is spent
