Re: Coronavirus
As the number of tests plummets whilst access to tests is made harder and the reasons to test are taken away the case numbers figure is going to become meaningless anyway. Agreed. The most important stat right now (and has been for some time) is the amount of people in hospital because of covid whi...

Re: Next announcement
Each to their own I guess. Mercyful Fate are the only reason I'm looking for a reason to go, but at the minute I can't even justify a day ticket for them. Same here. Looking like a Saturday day ticket for me on the basis of Mercyful Fate and even then I expect I'll just turn up in time for Dimmu Bo...

Re: Next announcement
Looks like racist Phil has pulled out of European festivals for 2022 due to covid concerns.
Good news that piece of shit won't be there but it's worrying that bands are starting to make the call on summer festivals already

Re: Next announcement
I imagine we'll start getting announcements of cancellations soon enough. Noooooooooooooo!!!!! Hey human population, can't you see, if you don't catch it, you help to stop it. Get the booster, stay inside, social distance, etc. !!!! We should be smart enough by now to fight this harder and get back...

Re: 2022 Bands Ranking List
As I'm only going for the Saturday, I'll be watching 2 bands - Dimmu Borgir & Mercyful Fate.
If I were going for the whole weekend you could add NFO, Nanowar, GWAR and Testament but that's it. The rest of the lineup is absolute garbage

Re: Next announcement
Nanowar are fun but there's still nowhere near enough to change my mind from a Saturday day ticket to suddenly stumping up for a full weekend ticket. Can't stand Killing Joke personally - that Sunday looks utterly dreadful for me, not a single band I'd watch on the main stage.

Re: Next announcement
Unless they've decided to scrap most of this gash line-up and start again then I can't say I'm particularly excited.

Re: Next announcement
(Racist Phil aside) Is he confirmed racist? Or are people still going on about that one incident where he made a bad joke about drinking wine backstage? Seriously. There are people who believe Phil's pathetic "white wine joke" excuse and still don't realise he's a racist scumbag? Seriously.

Re: Next announcement
Looks like maybe a day ticket now that Graspop has sold out, so that I can see Mercyful Fate, but even then the rest of the day is dogshit so it would be begrudgingly That's the position I'm in at the moment - even then I'll probably just turn up for Dimmu Borgir and Mercyful Fate and then go home ...

Re: Next announcement
Well, that's put to bed any consideration I had of a weekend ticket - what a massive sack of gash this lineup is. Day ticket for Mercyful Fate it is then. And even then I probably won't go into the arena until Dimmu Borgir.

Re: Vicky's Gone Then
It certainly does no harm whatsoever to respect a human's gender choice. I don't really understand anyone's refusal to do so. "This person identifies as a woman. What do I gain or lose by calling her a man?" You potentially lose a lot. There are some very good reasons to question this 're...
