Re: What pissed you off today

My 6 month old 32" TV decided to die this morning, and its out of warranty, and its not covered by my insurance. COCK. *edit Scratch that, I rang up the place I bought it from just on the off chance they could help and they've suddenly decided it is in warranty, I suspect its because they now ...

Re: What pissed you off today

Threads are coming out of new carpet, and I've had to have someone out to look at it twice. The guy this morning suggested I colour the gaps in with a felt tip to hide them, or to put a mat over it. I had to ring up the shop's manager to tell him thats not what i paid £500 for!

What is it about a glimpse of sunshine that makes pedestrians oblivious to traffic?? Sauntering across dual carriageways, strolling along the roads not the pavement next to them. Do they think that 3/4 length trousers make cars bounce of them. :x

Re: What pissed you off today

None of the 5 Nile tickets we have all ordered have actually arrived yet. The gig is on Monday. The tickets are supposedly delivered 7-10 days before the event in question. I'm so annoyed, I phoned the number on the seetickets site and I got through to the Box Office - all he said was "oh, wel...

He's in few episodes - he mocked himself for doing it when he played BOA.

Re: What pissed you off today

Being sent on a wild goose chase by a client. Was told I had to be in a meeting in Winchester at 11 this morning, so left at 7. Realised I'd be late, so I called him, and found out he'd changed the time to 2pm and the location to central London and not told me!! Had to find the nearest railway stati...

Re: The Book thread

Currently reading 'Ghost' by Robert Harris, its about a ghostwriter who's asked to help finish the memoirs of a former British Prime Minister after his predecessor apparently commits suicide. The PM has a few skeletons in his closet, a controversial wife and comes under investigation for war crimes ...

The very nice people at Rise Above who sorted out an order that I'd fucked up - the proper order was more expensive, but they waived the difference.
