Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Disappointed in him. Wanted him to do well and thought at the very least we'd get some pride being shown by the national team. Fucked it up royally and now we're getting Southgate temporarily and god knows who after that.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Seriously, please just liquidate Rovers Venky's and fuck off. And take Coyle with you. I'd rather have no team than this horsecrap week in week out. I could make a Sunday League team that would play rings around us.

Going to get paid for eight and a half hours of playing with a brain controlled scalextrics set to make sure it worked ready for an exhibition next month. Not a bad days work at all.

Re: The Relationships Thread
Seems like many congrats are in order! Has there ever been so many good stories in such a short space of time? As for me, things are still going pretty well, although the end of uni job hunt/relocation may throw a spanner into the works. I was staying with her family so that I could easily travel t...

Re: TV: Current and Recent
Apparently he was trying to go for a "villain" role, which could have worked, but when his robot had done bugger all, that arrogant posturing made him come across really badly. I loved it when he was calling someone else a coward in the last fight. Really mate? Overall, I'm a little under...

Re: Computer Games Thread
Tried a bit of Hearthstone because Overwatch has been fucking dire since competitive ended. Not bad, but need to find something else to replace OW for the off season.
Actually, may replay Undertale and go for one of the endings I didn't do. Fantastic game.

Re: What's freaking you out?
Got a job down in Welwyn Garden City where my girlfriend lives. Now I have two weeks to find a place to live before I start. Nearly the end of the bulk of the stress though I hope.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Another game, another defeat confirmed less than half an hour into the game. One of the worst teams in the league and they still spank us. Called it before the season started, but still hurts every time. Does anyone know what the lowest points total in Championship history is? If we keep Coyle I can...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Don't know if I can stomach this season... thought it would be bad but conceding 3 in the first 25 minutes? Less than 16 first team players, all signings free or loans, and still not enough of them plus a manager who has half arsed his entire career. Feel bad for considering it but definitely consid...

Ah, see THAT we can agree on. The PUA scene is an abomination, but by no means the same as the MRA.

Re: The Relationships Thread
Was absently reading this thread while drinking my post-lunch coffee, and had to comment on this: He feels I owe him because he's "a nice guy". Aren't these guys just the fucking worst ? Self-proclaimed "nice guys" are, 99% of the time, anything but. They treat sex and relations...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
It seems like he'd grind out more wins than Hodgson, but I can't see many people playing for him. Nor does the team seem to really suit his play style. Should be fun to watch. As someone who used to watch Allardyce games week in week out, I have never seen another manager create such cohesive units...

Fantastic. Can't stand the woman, was completely in denial when the banks crashed and seems to be of the opinion that she is to tell the voters what to think, rather than to act on the voters' behalf.
