Should update the poll on whether people think it'll be deal/no deal or 2nd referendum

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
True, these things seem to go either way though. Given how much they've invested to replace him and the stage he made the mistakes on, I can't see him going back to LFC. Shame really, harsh to see someone's ruined by one game. Wasn't he suffering with a concussion though? If he's frozen out, this o...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Wonder when VAR will introduced into the league? If refs are more willing to card players for dissent and surrounding them I can see it working well once it's bedded in. So for all the talk of Klopp sticking by Karius it's come to nothing with them bringing in Allison. I can see why they did it but ...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
I often find myself cheering on other home nations, though that's often because they're the underdogs and I normally support them unless one of my teams are involved  I would like to see more home nations in competitions myself. Now that it's over, England/bias aside I would it was the best WC ...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Well, I got to see England get to a WC semi final, win 6-1, finally win a penalty shoot out and not embarrass ourselves; all in all I'm happy enough. Went in just hoping we didn't do a Germany :P and my expectations were met and then some. It's a big if but if we can build on this then there is pote...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
The current England squad seem a bit boring in comparison. The most controversial they get is giving each other the middle finger to say hello during matches. Being boring is probably a good thing for them though. Don't forget Sterling and his fun tattoo  Speaking of which, how long...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
It was a good group stage overall I thought, some good games (with a few great games mixed in) and some pleasant surprises throughout. Think Senegal and Nigeria are unlucky to have gone out but hey, that's sport for you. Hopefully some of the big matches will see teams go out to win the game rather ...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
To be honest the problem I saw in the Argentina team is that they expect Messi to do too much. If you watch Portugal the other 10 work around Ronaldo, they run with him, they give options and they give him the ball in positions where he can finish. Every time Argentina got the ball, Messi had to dr...

I was shocked by it. Though once I think about it I don't think he lived the healthiest lifestyle.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
I thought about posting something along the lines of 'Don't cry for me Argentina' but after seeing the wonderful footage of Maradona bawling his eyes out, that fat cunt can cry me a river all night long :D https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/624/cpsprodpb/C111/production/_102152494_maradona.jpg N...
