Just got some "advice" on how to look for a job from my dad, who just happened to list all of the things I'm already doing.

Re: The Book thread

I recently just finished reading The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks and I really enjoyed it, a book hasn't grabbed me like that in quite a while. Out of the Shannara books I've read so far, this is the best. 8)

Re: Computer Games Thread

Silent Hill 2 is one of the best games very few games are that creepy it is a shame i have missplaced my copy. Im playing through eternal darkness again, even though the graphi are starting to look a bit dated it is still one of my favourite games Silent Hill 2 is probably my favourite horror game ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Yeah Condemned is pretty freaky in parts, although it doesn't compare to Silent Hill 2 in my book. :D There aren't any new decent survival horror games, but if you haven't played it already I recommend Project Zero II. It's a prequel, so you don't have to worry about spoiling anything, and it's a p...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I recently got Condemned for my 360 for 6 quid (bargain!) from CeX. It's pretty good so far, but it's also really hard. :eyes: Been meaning to get that since it came out, only a tenner in game  . May have to go get it this weekend. I'm not good with scary looking ganes though tbh, there was th...

Re: What's freaking you out?

Yeah, they do eventually sort themselves out if you have a problem but for a few months they just sit behind their desks picking their noses. Heh, it's actually all sorted itself out now. They sent me a letter saying that I should disregard all previous letters about my loan as they've changed my c...

This technically isn't the most recent pic of me, if I posted that it would be me in my graduation cap and gown! Lol anyways... 'tis me on the right. Hello. *waves* http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs138.snc1/5892_140200368011_513658011_3231192_3488544_n.jpg

Re: What's freaking you out?

Student finance. Again. I'm actually past the point of being all raged because I'm getting genuinely worried now. I start uni in about two weeks and they're still dicking around with my aplication. They sent a 'payment schedule' saying when I'll be paid and to who, etc, but they got the wrong blood...

Re: The Book thread

Almost finished the final book of The Dark Tower series. I'm not sure what's worth reading after this so I might just read the entire thing again! Haha I know how you feel... even though it is a very flawed series, I still love it. I'm very curious as to what you'll make of the ending of DT 7... :)...
