Re: IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE BBQ's
there was a crowd by a tent next to ours a few years ago and they lit a couple up. The area around their tent was covered in litter and it was windy- far too close for comfort. I went and got the security and they had a word with them and stood there until the bbqs were removed.

yes it is (and has been for years) already policy but there are a few who do it probably newbies who haven't read the rules yet.

I use this site. I look at the jetstream animation which is on this site too. And they put their percentage confidence.

get factor 30 and 50 if you are going to be exposed. There have been some very nasty burns on people in the past. I think they sell it on the site but there's probably cheap deals in the chemist's now.

Re: Dress Code for Blood stock festival
Update to the Dress Code:
Everyone is supposed to wear something pink to honour Sophie Lancaster's mum.
I can honestly say I have zero items of clothing or anything that is pink to wear at this moment in time....

Re: How many people still visit this forum?
They were trying to ban camping chairs? What?! Yes. And last year they actually would not let people in the arena after 5 pm with a camping chair unless they had some sort of health reason which they questioned people about in public! Outrageous imvho. How about just getting older and needing to si...

Re: How many people still visit this forum?
There was a big push from the forum to do something about the camping chairs, mostly seen from the feedback thread. To be fair, it does get old very quickly to sidle through the crowd to watch a band, spot a gap to nip through and hit the alcohol addled emergency brakes before you hit a curved line...

Re: How many people still visit this forum?
I read/glance on here about once a week and rarely post unless I feel strongly about something or something happened like the Vicky thing and all the shyte about banning camping chairs ffs. I usually have a good read before BOA and after for the post-mortem stuff as I've gone every year since 2009 (...

Re: Dress Code for Blood stock festival
There will be people wearing New Rocks and big heavy boots so wearing flip flops or sliders in the arena is probably not a good idea...

Re: What has made you happy today
Our pregnant foster cat gave birth to three healthy squeaky babies on Wednesday. She's been doing an amazing job looking after them, and it's so exciting to be raising newborns rather than ferals or semi-ferals for a change! We named the mama Daifuku (a glutinous rice cake with a sweet filling) and...

Re: Next announcement
Did it not occur to people that Phil Anselmo pulled out of Bloodstock because of the hostility here. I wouldn't come to BOA after the comments on here. Remember there was an awful scene involving a gobstopper back in 2009 when Cradle of Filth were assaulted for a lot less controversy than Phil's ant...
