Me and the girlfriend got a new flat. Paid the deposit and first month's rent yesterday. Signed the lease and got the keys today. Next thing to do is get signed up for some fibre broadband.

Oh, and move our stuff in, I guess.

She. And if you mean one of them eye torch thingies then yes. Gorgeous and kind black woman who was very understanding and caring. Housemate says she saw her when she was really ill and thought the same.

Went round my brothers for his 30th which was nice, kipped there, and the morning after we got to go round his fiances parents where there's a 2 cats, 2 german sheppards, a super fluffy malamute/husky/thing, and most importantly an 8 week old husky pup.

We'd all just watch him teetor totter around and then sit down and give him tons of praise and then the german sheppard would come for cuddles and hugs, and the big husky seemed to love me for some reason and I now want 5 dogs.

after nearly 5 months of refusing to be bullied by Sky's inept "customer services teams", I finally received a written apology, the refund of a full year's line rental and 2 months lack of service refund, following a mis-sell.

The call handlers I dealt with were absolutely shocking in respect of their lack of knowledge, and their ability tell you one thing, then do something else; or not do anything at all.

However their escalated complaints department was brilliant.

Got a 2:1 Undergraduate Master's for my Physics course. 4 years of hard work, and whilst a first would've been nice, it'll do nicely. Now time for real life I guess...
