Hughes sacked

I think that he would have been a perfect match for Everton manager....

Seen elsewhere: Coutinho is all set to be the first player since 1990 to play for Liverpool and also win a league title in the same season.

100 mil upfront with the rest in add on's apparently, the add on's are guaranteed not dependent on CL progress or Balon D'or stipulating crap. Wonder if they'll return to form and pay over the odds for a terrible replacement

For the first time in awhile, I think a club got rid of a manager in the right way; rather than knee jerking and firing someone after a few bad results, they at least gave Hughes a decent amount of time to try and turn things around.

Good weekend of FA cup football, great matches and a few giant killings. Didn't realize Pulis was the 'Boro manager though, managed to go under the radar for me

Leeds United's new logo looks like something from the USSR.

It generally looks like one of those fake club badges off of a PES game

Only just realized the last time Leeds won a title was just after the USSR had dissolved

If Manchester City were a country they would be ranked 94th in the world for defense spending

I'd hate to be Johnathan Moss right now, lose/lose situation for him.

What the hell is up with footballers?

Your team is right at the bottom of the league and you are out at 5 o'clock in the morning getting takeaways in Spain? That's not even considering the fact they apparently stole a taxi. :?

Footballers are the new rock stars, not very original though, didn't Bruce and Ozzy do this years ago?

Wrestlers did it even better. Andre The Giant and Dusty Rhodes once stole two horse-drawn carriage taxis from Central Park and raced them across Manhattan.

So yeah, how about that quadruple City are aiming for?

If only they had bought some better defenders...
