Ed King - guitarist and writer on the first three Lynyrd Skynyrd albums - he's the guy that counts in the riff to Sweet Home Alabama

You can't even be arsed posting the persons name?

Have some fucking respect. It's an RIP thread for people who died who you want to give respect to. Not a thread to just list dead people which are mentioned on social media.

It was a mistake. Calm down Gandalf. No need for the aggression. Relax.

This is literally the first time anyone has unironically said "too soon" to me.

Jacqueline Pearce has died today at 74. Starred in a couple of Hammer Horror movies, Doctor Who, The Avengers etc. but was famous for her iconic performance as Servalan in the BBC cheapo sci-fi series Blakes 7. I imagine she'll be well remembered amongst those of us in our 40s and beyond.

^ I'm sure she will be. Good actress. And although Blakes 7 had cheap sets it was otherwise a well made programme.
