I drop into street view in the middle of the road and the first thing I see is a massive bit of graffiti that says "REMEMBER 1690 - NO SURRENDER!"

That'll be a no to Runymede Drive then
I didn't actually know the date but I guessed what event it was referring to. Hmm, ironic: "William is celebrated to this day as a champion of Protestantism, but he was nonetheless backed by the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Alexander VIII. The Pope was part of a 'Grand Alliance' against Louis XIV's warring in Europe and supported William's reconquest of Ireland."

And he was also a raging gay apparently. That irony reminds me of a good FB post the other day when all the articles about the DUP's homophobia were in the main UK news sites. Something to the effect of "it's funny that they love King Billy so much when his arse was invaded more often than Syria."

He could lead a band as well as he could lead a political party.... :eyes:

Fair play to him for actually giving it a try though

If you have some friends who claim metal just sounds like noise to them, then play them this song (specifically the bridge) and ask them if it's not noise to them, some of the defenses I've heard of this song are hilarious

Football Manager game has introduced gay characters that "come out".

The example they used plays for Arsenal.

The photo is an old Belfast bus being used by the Felix (E O D) so the Scooby Operator "me" could practice using the wheel barrow on the upper deck of a bus. Days earlier in Belfast City Centre a brief case was left on a bus, treated as a bomb. The wheel barrow in them days could not turn on the stairs of the bus. I attended that, but as the device was going to be exploded a gent some how got through the cordon and retrieved his case. Would be 1975!!!! Photo was taken at Girdwoood Park Camp, Crumlin Nick chimney in the back ground

Mate that bot's quoting from a conversation we had on here ages ago! Remember I posted a photo of a bomb disposal robot in the bucket of a digger to reach the top of a double decker bus and you wouldn't believe me that a bus that old was still in use in the 1970's?
