Go to 1.36. How awesome is that red card? Superb tackle IMO.

Seriously... no posts in here today? We've technically just won the World Cup.

Nah, New Zealand are the World Champions. Only team not to lose in the 2010 World Cup.

Again, led by Chris Wood.

Mata is the kind of winger who gives fullbacks nightmares. Downing is the kind of winger who might struggle to wake them up. - Iain Macintosh.

I can't say England played well. They were organised and defended competently, hoofed it to Bent, rinse and repeat, nicked a set piece winner then nearly chucked it away at the end. A win's a win, though. Now watch as the media blows it all out of proportion and heralds it as the start of their unstoppable march to Euro 2012 glory.

More likely a Quarter Final exit to the Irish on penalties.

Man, hate as much as you want.

Point still stands.

We defended against one of the most technically gifted teams in the world.

We fucking kept a clean sheet against a roster of stars famed for fucking you up.

We did fucking well tonight.

Not so much hate as cynicism through experience.

No-one expected much at Euro 96 but at every tournament since we've been nailed on certainties in the meeja's own mind because we're ENGERLUND and WE'RE GONNA SCORE ONE MORE THAN YOU. Before it turned into a wet fart.

Taking nothing away from them, they got a good result. They went out with a plan and mostly stuck to it. It's next summer that they have to do it all again and make it count. We'll see.

I couldnt give a monkeys about that result. I didnt watch the match but it wouldnt surprise me if we played our hearts out just to choke any chance they had of equalising. I dont have too much passion when it comes down to international matches, even if they are friendlies.

Well they were obviously gonna be playing better against spain, Sweden will be a bigger test as their not spanish therefore most players will be shit. Parker is still englands best player.

Tranmere's game today had that most magical of moments; our keeper went up for the corner. 8)

2-1 against Notlob was not a true reflection of the game. They had their arses handed to them in the second half. Albion could have had four or five if the shooting had been better. Bolton didn't have a sniff.
