It's not on an external URL so I couldn't watch it at work during the day. Even if it was I'm sure it would just be more of the same.

Yep, she spends most of her time upstairs wreaking havoc and making noise so we were curious to see what she's up to. I didn't actually know she slept in the hallway like that, guess it's the warm pipes under the carpet going to the radiator next to her?

Fire it up on a spare laptop/computer with a webcam. Enable streaming, accept any firewall warnings, find out the IP of that computer on the network, then visit it on a web browser using port 8881. Simplest solution I've found yet.

See there's no point doing that with my cats because they're always either

1) playing outside
2) eating in the kitchen
3) sleeping downstairs (Leo on the sofa, Lorelei on a dining room chair or on top of the kitchen cupboards)
4) Sleeping on a bed upstairs


I would like to do that thing where they put tracking devices on cats collars to see where they go in their area.
