Happened to be near an M&S Food yesterday so I decided to buy some posh food* for the weekend. Two little bottles of bubbly, chocolates and Jarlsberg cheese. Got a weird look from the cashier who asked me if it was all just for that afternoon.

* i.e. same as normal food but overpriced

So WMMH is Jarlsberg cheese on mah bagel and champagne in the sun.

Managed another Spartan race. 5k my arse. Closer to 9, up colossal hills near Edinburgh, some absolutely brutal challenges and a complete Nazi burpee watcher.

I have a million bruises, several scraps and cuts but it was totally worth it!

1) Went speed dating (out of character)
2) Hung around afterwards chatting to people (even more out of character)
3) Asked a girl for her number, to her face (first time ever )
4) Texted her this lunchtime to see if she wants a drink, instead of fannying around.

Naturally I've had no response but I'm strangely proud of myself for trying.

Had to get the tent out to duct tape up one of the carbon fiber pole thingies which had split down the middle when I was packing up from BOA last year. Typical of me to nearly go out and buy a replacement pole.

Also seem to have scored me a lift this year as well.

Realised that I've come quite far the last few months. Yay for personal growth and all that jazz! I'm starting to feel like I might be ready to get a job again sometime in January perhaps.
