Also finally got my bed sorted today after 21 days living in this damn house, meaning I could finally sort the furniture out and have a proper place to live

I remember that feeling. My first proper job after university allowed me to pay off my overdraft, and then when I later got a better paid job, I reached a 5-figure balance. Then my bank complained at me and told me a current account wasn't designed for that, and could I please move some of it to a savings account

Today at work was pretty damn productive and we showed that backlog what for.

Shame that my funniest colleague who's been consistently supplying the bantz for the past year and a half is leaving tomorrow, along with two others. And I'm in on Bank Holiday Monday when I bet the weather's gonna be gorgeous and all my mates will be having their fun and frolics, made more likely given it's payday for most people tomorrow.

Looking forward to checking out some black metal in Manchester tonight. And the fact that the Maiden album coming out makes turning 35 far better than it actually should.

Also as a follow up to the pissed off thread. The mood is far better than it was. I think it's a mix of post fest blues worry about my grand parents and getting older. But as I say the Maiden album is helping with that!
