Was already happy with the brutal assault lineup, but having Zhrine, Devin Townsend Project, Swallow The Sun and Tiamat playing Wildhoney in full is an excellent addition to me, especially as I've never seen the former or latter - other than Zhrine they all provide a change of pace to the majority death and black metal lineup.

I now have 17 must sees and 45 total that I would check out. One or two more melodic bands and a couple of fun slam bands and pretty much a perfect lineup.

I'm getting a bonus, which I wasn't even expecting. Although after a lot of hair-tearing with tax calculators, I'll only see about 60% of it. Still, mustn't grumble.

Give Inu a smug judgmental look for me.

Mass Effect. Its Mass Effect day. I have the week booked off work and my bestie has given me space on their sofa and full take over of their tv for it so I can play. Its going to be amazing! Mass Effect!

Unspecified pay rise. Could be mere pennies but every little 'elps, innit?

Just as well because I've caved into my bro and dad's suggestion of a weekend in Girona in Sept.

Launched our new bookie web site. Laid some bets. Some minor teething problems, but nothing too serious so far.

Sorted my summer holiday.

3 nights in Munich in a nice hotel, followed by Brutal Assault festival, followed by 3 nights in Prague in a nice 2 bed apartment on airbnb. Flights, festival ticket and those 6 nights accommodation coming to just over £300 for an 11 night holiday. I know I will need to pay for a bus from Munich to Prague, then train from Prague to festival, but that shouldn't be too much extra. Few days at home after, and seeing as I have the Monday off could even go to Metal Mean in Belgium

Good laugh though wasn't it? Happy to not be boring anymore :P

Plus its Ania in the wrong she put lippy on me made me feel pretty thought I could get away with anything. I actually did. Buwhahaha, it will take some to top that night. That doesn't mean to say I am not going to try next time! Joe you're safe, you've paid a penalty already, next time you're immune.

Got this out the way, just one more module till I have my foundation degree in live sound engineering upgraded to an honours degree in sound engineering.

Also I have an interview with the Plymouth Institute of Education to do PGCE teacher training in further education teaching sound engineering.

The new Dystopian Wrath album is about 98% complete and we'll begin tracking soon (you can get our EP here if you're interested https://soundcloud.com/dystopian-wrath/ ... n-wrath-ep) and we've dropped a lot of the symphonic elements of our music in favour of a more guitar driven approach so right now things are going pretty well.
