Stuffed peppers. One with a rice + bolognaise (sort of) filling topped with cheese and breadcrumbs, the other with red onion, goats cheese and beetroot. Easy and tasty.

Cooking a fry up. Standard sausage, bacon, beans, fried eggs, beans, toast. Simple yet genius.

Cooked a sunday roast today for the first time in ages. I know it has been ages because the gravy powder ran out in May 2014. It was still ok though. Did enough spuds and carrots for 2 days to be fried up., gonna try it with ginger root.

Had one of the steaks my Dad left over for me last week. Expected it to be a bit tough as they were frozen, but it was quite the opposite and rather tasty, possibly more so cause it was free  Really want another one now, good job I've got a freezer full of them :P

Sounds really silly, but I had to teach someone yesterday how to make an omelette in a pan using butter instead of oil.

I cook every day but only bake once a year. Planning next Christmas' goodies already- Boozy Bakewell Tarts. Amaretto-soaked sponge, sloe gin jam, cream liquer icing and brandy-soaked cherries. Will be pissed by breakfast!

Home made Chicken Satay last night. As well as Cauliflower Cheese soup.

Damn that was a fattening meal.

Three ingredient beer bread (self raising flour, sugar, beer) turned out really well. It's amazing the result you get considering how little effort is involved - about ten minutes work plus an hour in the oven.
