John Hillerman who played Higgins in Magnum PI and Howard Johnson in Blazing Saddles. RIP.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-41940675

You can tell the story was written by someone who never watched Magnum PI though.

Hillerman played the caretaker of Thomas Magnum's luxurious Hawaiian residence

It wasn't his, he was the security guard and freelance PI. It was owned by someone that never appeared called Mr Masters.

http://www.metalinjection.net/this-is-just-a-tribute/original-faith-no-more-vocalist-chuck-mosley-dead-at-age-57

Chuck Mosley, singer on the first two Faith No More albums

While not the biggest fan (Patton hands down) he was quite central in making FNM what it became, R.I.P.

"The disease of addiction".
So, booze, drugs or possibly both.

If only Andy Hall was still here to tell us how he deserved it and that nobody should care because he brought it all on himself.
I miss those days. :(

That's sad. He only played recently as well. :(

Saw FNM play to a packed Birkenhead Stairways and a few months later in Liverpool Royal Court to about 30 people.

I think it helped the Birkenhead gig by being on the normal rock night so they had loads there for a night out.

It is sad - I saw him in Chester last year and while I didn't enjoy it, he was certainly trying to re-establish himself, it was a long tour of provincial towns and he was happy to mingle and have his photo taken etc. His bass player/driver for that tour posted that he was getting more focussed and a tighter show was planned for next year.

Never really liked the Mosley stuff when I first got into Faith No More, but had come to appreciate it a lot more in the last few years when giving the early albums a re-listen. Such a shame when someone goes out to addiction, especially if he had managed to be sober for quite a while as well which seemed to be the case from what I read in the statement.

RIP Malcolm Young

Had a huge impact on rock music and wrote and played on some of the best music of the past 50 years, although he's been ill for awhile it's still saddening to see an icon pass.

A shame some people are using this as an excuse to bring up the "it's no longer AC/DC" argument instead of remembering Malcolm.

The least surprising celebrity death.

Seventies teenage heartthrob David Cassidy. RIP.
