Police treating it as a suicide.
Most reports are still being deliberately vague but some are saying he was found with "a band around his neck".

One of the few Grunge era bands that I ever had time for was Soundgarden. Great singer.
I was even listening to the Bond theme song the other day.
RIP.

What is it with grunge singers and dying young? Andrew Wood, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland and now Chris Cornell. Eddie Vedder is the only one left.

Just reminds me of that sad scene from The Trip Italy when they talk about him and Michael Caine looking old at Michael Winner's funeral.

My favourite Bond. The only one that was even close to the books (apart from David Niven in the spoof of Casino Royale).
Also The Saint, The Persuaders and Ivanhoe to people of a certain age. All repeats in the mid 1970s obviously.
RIP
At least he didn't need a wig.

I loved Moore as Bond, second favourite Bond (behind Daniel Craig), it's just a shame the majority of storylines he got as Bond were terrible. He would've been amazing in films like The Living Daylights or Goldeneye, but he got lumbered with utter crap like A View To A Kill, Octopussy, and The Man With The Golden Gun; The Spy Who Loved Me was the only half decent script he got.

I loved Roger Moore. An Enlgish icon. As Bond, of course but also in the Persuaders with Tony Curtis. And there's a cool film he did called The Man Who Haunted Himself. I don't know much of the original Saint episodes, I'll have to get a DVD of them.

Just watch daytime TV, they get shown all the time.
