Keep forgetting to buy fucking marmalade. Marmalade on toast is godly.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

Or cheese. Cheese on toast or cheesy crumpets for starters, marmalade on toast as a palette cleanser.

Nope, had marmalade on my toast yesterday cause I wasn't given enough butter. Was horrible.

I like peanut butter on toast, but the toast has to be really hot. Cold/lukewarm toast is a crime.

Has to be proper butter - none of this margarine nonsense.

I had marmite on toast for my breakfast this morning, as it goes. Fairly adequate - the bread had been frozen when it was already on the verge of going stale so not the best. 6/10

You mustn't over-toast toast. Hot bread is what to aim for.

I prefer it toasted but cooled slightly, so the butter doesn't melt.

And it must have lots of butter.

Definitely in the hot bread crew here. Too brown and it's just no good. I like it to still be slightly soft.

I'm pretty much the opposite, it it doesn't have a proper crunch to it, it's not toast. Marmalade on toast is lovely, and probably my favourite. Nutella on toast is nice, but you can't have butter with that.

Nutella on toast is beautiful. Toast needs to be a nice golden brown - a bit of a crunch but not overdone. Definitely not burnt.
