I always thought it was like It's A Knockout and was only there to take the piss out of Europeans.

Bring that back again. I'd watch it.

I like seeing the whole continent get together and have a bit of kitsch/campy fun. And nah, not bothered that we don't win, but I do know what's keeping us from winning.

Completely passed by me this year, I've even missed the usual "can you believe we've put X forward this year?" moans

Well, Mel Giedroyc and Simon whosits are cringe.

My money's on Romania because of the whole yodelling thing, even though the song underneath it is shite. Netherlands will do well on the strength of their vocal harmonies. Really on top of their game.

I want one of those leather biker jacket/dinner jacket combos like the big bloke from Croatia was wearing.

It's not. Bulgaria, Portugal or Italy are the only ones in with a chance, mark my words.

Nice to see people talking the United Kingdom in with a chance of a top 5 finish though, even if I think out song is shite.

I'm still gutted that Macedonia didn't make it last night (or Slovenia on Tuesday night). Jana was stunning, and I love a woman in long boots  although she got proposed to after her performance so I suppose she won't be that gutted.

All those years of "the reason for getting no votes is because they don't like us" is now seen to be a myth. Now they've got a reason to dislike us, they vote for us!

So it's obvious that they didn't like the songs/singers all those years.

Probably the last time we had a good song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4-lKMGII_k

This year's wasn't bad actually, 6/10.

My prediction turned out to be wrong. Perhaps the panels made a sporting and concerted effort not to look politically biased and focus on the song and the performance. 6/10 for the song, 10/10 for the performance, I say. She has a lot to be proud of.
