Unleash the Archers

Postby asmodaii » Wed Sep 14, 2016 11:25 am

Absolutely amazing band (those vocals!!) and they almost never play in the UK. The cheesy/silly factor would go down well I think. Would be great to see them at Bloodstock!

By "almost never", you mean "actually never", at least so far. They'll be remedying that in November by supporting Sirenia in London for their first ever UK gig. But yes, they should clearly be booked for Bloodstock.

Yeah by "almost never" I meant, "never so far, but they are playing in November", haha! You off to see them? Not fussed about the rest of the lineup, but going anyway just to see UtA!

Naturally. I'd have gone anyway for Sirenia and Týr, but the addition of Unleash The Archers has transformed it from "yeah, I'm going to this gig" into "there's no way on earth I'm missing that!"

This needs to happen! I'm sure I put a post up about them last year. Possibly the year before too.

That's dedication! :D I think they've really grown in popularity in the last two years though, so maybe it's more realistic to have them now. :)

Yep, I think they are one of the more obvious choices of bands BOA should be going for.

Holy crap. That was outstanding. They absolutely must play Bloodstock.

They were indeed amazing, that front woman is incredible!

Tyr was also great last night and love to see them back, Sirenia were a complete yawn fest though.

Unleash the archers are awesome! Saw them last night fantastic performance! lots of hair, furious drums, priest style guitar and Brittney's voice was bloody amazing!!! Looks like their live show has massively evolved since the live YouTube video I watched before! Great to see them confidently working the crowd! Bloodstock people please book for 2016!!!

Yep. I'm a big fan, but I have to agree. I've seen them many times over the years and that was comfortably the worst performance I've seen from them.

Drove down from Leeds just to see UtA in London, totally worth the journey! They would absolutely decimate Bloodstock!

Left when Sirenia started, super boring. Tyr weren't on top form either I thought. Perhaps they were tired from all the protests and cancelled shows, lol

Why is it that every time I see this band name I think of Flanagan and Allen?
