Ouch! Well, fair play to you bungle! In my situation, I think asking her to be in a 10k mile long distance relationship is just a bit out of the question.
So, anyways, I cooked her dinner last night, pasta with a cheese sauce type thing. And it actually turned out alright, then we watched some DVDs for a bit, then we [edit], but then we had to go out to meet her friends and go a-rocking, so she had an early night. Oh well, I had fun. Plus I'm seeing her for the next two nights as well!
Haz, in my experience, girls who have a swarm of guys around are pretty much bitches, and will make your life in the vain hope of you getting some ass.
andeh, just take the fucking plunge man. If it doesn't happen, try and stay friends. But you'll never know if you just bump it round the ol' noggin.
So, fucking my head up is a really good idea at this point. It's kinda getting to me.

Long distance relationships can work. Sammi and I are evidence of that. We live about 200 miles apart and due to work and family commitments can't live together currently. We've been together for 2.5 years. We get to see each other for about 3-4 days about twice a month. Sometimes it's less ... sometimes it's more! Well that's work permitting as generally when I am not at work Sammi is. He works weekend nights and I work weekday days! It works for us but I appreciate it wouldn't work for everyone as you have to have a very strong relationship.

Sorry to all the singles, but just celebrated my five year anniversary with my first ever girlfriend, and fingers crossed my last ever as well. We did long distance for over two and a half years, Sheffield to London and then Lancaster to the South Coast: that took real dedication, it was over five and half hours in one direction. But, with plenty of communication and understanding, everything went fine and we're now living together, huzzah!
I know she never reads this forum, but if she ever does: mwah, love you darling. xxx

I have no doubt that they can, Lisa; you and Lee have put the time into it, so you deserve it! It's just that if I was to have an LDR with this girl, we wouldn't see each other at all until I came back, and it's not fair on either of us.
Wow, I'm actually suprised the number of people who are in relationships on here, especially as a lot seem to be LD. Go us!
