Trivial Grumblings
Re: Trivial Grumblings
Ache all over.
Re: Trivial Grumblings
They've got some community initiative in the kitchen making curry and they've whacked the heat up in general so I'm sweating like pedophile of choice in a nursery right now.
Re: Trivial Grumblings
Fed up with everything to be honest. Been in a pretty shit mood for three days now. I think once I have bought everything that I need to buy for my PC, I am having time off. Need a week or two to myself. Focus my efforts on job/gf finding.

Going through all my old engineering HNC books to revise for a job interview, and I'd really forgotten just how much I hate electronics. Really hate them. They make no sense. It's all magic.

Was that.
Luckily it gave me an excuse to spend all day in bed watching King of the Hill with Cait and eating curry but still jesus christ. I was non-human most of yesterday.

Caught the plague going round the office. Was only a matter of time, the way people were coughing all over the kitchen and sneezing into their hands...

Asked to come to work early, drop a car off in Brum. No one here to sign my vehicle off.
Then I am just going around the corner to Maidstone this afternoon. Beginning of the end for me in this job. If I haven't found anything by December 31st I am quitting and going unemployed.

The new team leader has taken up the empty desk next to me at work and if that wasn't bad enough, he insists on speaking to me before 10am. I'm not a functioning human until at least that time dammit.

Can you drive vans? As I know Royal Mail are desperate for van drivers at the moment.

Yeah, I can! I am looking into that as I heard the same!
Anyway, this is actually meant for the wpmot today thread, but as it's linked: knew today was going to be bad but not that bad. As far as it was I was to pick someone up from the Isle of Grain, then home (which is north side M25,M1 - nothing else is viable). "Can you pick x up from Redhill which is not on my route, and neither was Maidenhead for another chap, which I got this info whilst I was in Kent! So instead of 4pm home I got indoors at 7. Long and thick of it is I was so pissed off I shouldn't have been driving, and if this is what I
am to continue to expect then I feel this is my last week. Kill it before it kills me.
