Two old TV series I only just found out about, both starring Oliver Tobias:

I definitely remember those two.
That Arthur Of The Britons used to be ITVs go to show in the school holidays. Similar to things like Zorro, The Flashing Blade and Champion The Wonder Horse was on the BBC.
Smuggler was in the Sunday tea time slot ISTR. Same sort of slot as things like Robin Of Sherwood.
Maybe they didn't go national? As quite a few ITV programmes were only shown in certain regions like Granada, Yorkshire or HTV.

I'm afraid I don't remember that. How about Murphy's Mob?

I've got vague recollections of it. I definitely remember the lad playing the flute.
I might give it a go when I've got the time to sit down and watch it.

25 Years since Ghostwatch.
Now that's scarier than the programme.

I was at the wrong age for Ghostwatch. I was twenty and had it sussed as a set-up after about two minutes.
The wife watched it when she was thirteen and it scared the shit out of her.

I knew it was a drama because it told everyone in the Radio Times. And yes, I did used to buy the RT.

Ghostwatch
BBC One London, 31 October 1992 21.25
A Screen One Special drama for Hallowe'en by Stephen Volk, starring Michael Parkinson, Sarah Greene, Mike Smith, Craig Charles
Ghosts no longer inhabit stately homes and rattle chains. They live in ordinary council houses like that of Mrs Pamela Early.
For months she's suffered strange noises, awful smells and bent cutlery, but is hers really the most haunted house in Britain?
BBCtv turns the cameras on ghoulies, ghosties and things that go bump in the night.
Producer Ruth Baumgarten Director Lesley Manning
STEREO
TELETEXT SUBTITLES: page 888

I'd never heard the full length Rainbow theme song before. It's surprisingly good, like Jethro Tull or something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15_q-Ux ... e=youtu.be
