Re: movies
The IMDb top 250 has decreased in quality in recent years, several classics fell off while some questionable films have crept up. Still mostly a good list though, and I've similarly tried to watch as many of them as I can.

That's not an official campaign poster, wouldn't hold that against him.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
Fairly unsurprising considering I'm a bleeding heart lefty - Mostly aligned with Labour and Lib Dems, and least with Conservatives, tho there's a bit of overlap EDIT: Least with parties that have any chance of getting an MP :P http://i.imgur.com/oTJjPZU.png I wish I agreed with as many policies as ...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
Usually I'd vote Lib Dem/Labour but as at the moment I couldn't bring myself to vote for either of them. Corbyn's socialist utopia is just not financially sustainable and the Lib Dems have committed themselves to a "reverse Brexit" stance that I completely disagree with. Plus, they've bur...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
Firing this thread back up after almost a year, got a new poll at the top if anyone's interested
Really feeling the Lib Dems this time around, still got a few months to decide though

Re: What made you Lol Today?
Why does it matter tho? Like if they stop using tallow, and it might make some other people happier, with no change in my quality of life. Sounds like a win win. Yeah I didn't get the criticisms of vegetarians who didn't like it, the Scottish notes aren't being made with animal fat so it's not like...

Definitely doesn't make you fucked up, I don't think anyone on here would expect you to mourn someone who molested you.
Hope this gives you some kind of closure.

Re: POLL: The EU Referendum
I wouldn't say it's a guarantee that Scotland will be independent, and from what I've heard Wales have really fucked themselves with this one, so by no means an ideal scenario. Also David Cameron has stepped down and will now likely be replaced by someone far worse.

Re: POLL: The EU Referendum
Every single voting region in Scotland voted Remain. An entire nation. How cruel that it means absolutely nothing in the wider picture. I only spoke to one person who was concerned about the Brexit before the referendum, everyone up here thought it would be a slam dunk for remain since that was the...

I'd be happy with either outcome so I chose will not vote, although I likely will vote.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
Finished Season 1 of Broad City. I would recommend it, first episode wasn't great but the rest got steadily better until the final 2 which were hilarious.
