Re: Next Announcement
Well done BOA, all time great bands at the top of the bill, up and coming bands at the bottom of the bill, familiar favourites in the middle, great mix of old and new, there's not much more I can ask for. Bit more doom and power metal wouldn't go amiss of course, but that's just nitpicking.

Re: 2021 Bands Ranking List
For me overall the line-up is decent but Mercyful Fate headlining is what won me over, I doubt I would be attending otherwise. I'm liking that they're booking more up and coming bands like Green Lung, Lost Society, Conjurer, Jinjer and Svalbard, hoping we can get Idle Hands back on the bill too! The...

Re: Next Announcement
What we know is that a band that was announced for this year but not carried over is to be announced again for next year, which points to Hatebreed although I'd be much happier with Idle Hands.

Re: worst band on the lineup ?
Got to be Phil, not only is he an utter racist cunt but he's playing a Pantera set despite not being a founding member, and being in a feud with two now deceased members at the time of their death. And Pantera are shite to begin with.
Close runner's up Skindred.

Re: Next Announcement
If NFO aren't headlining the Thursday I hope we get Witchcraft headlining the Sophie in that day.

Re: Next Announcement
Just bought my first BOA ticket in 6 years, the way this year was unfolding I never would have guessed I'd end up heading along, but Mercyful Fate replacing Behemoth turns this from a mediocre lineup to one of the best in years! Just wish Idle Hands were still playing.

Re: Next Announcement
Another long shot if it's not MF or the obvious Down would be Danzig, he's playing Lucifuge in full at Psycho Las Vegas next year and honestly I'd love to see that!

Re: Next Announcement
I've been into Prog for years and they've always been more on the fringes because as far as Prog goes it's still pretty generic, most Prog fans I've seen don't really talk about Architects all that much.

Re: Next Announcement
Had another little look around festivals in August, Architects were a band that people had discussed headlining that could be a possibility, seem to be headlining Summer Breeze in Germany, would also continue on with the theme they set with Parkway Drive. Not a band that would convince me to buy a t...

Re: Next Announcement
The band that AILD became after Timmy went jail did alright for themselves, can't remember the name but they were playing academies as I recall, now that Timmy's back out that probably increases their selling power. They're pulling in almost a million listeners each month on Spotify so clearly someo...
