Re: Bringing a 5 year old
Noodle seems to have covered a lot. Also, I've taken a carrier to stick our boy up in either on my back or my front and he has actually fallen asleep in it during the bands or in the Serpents Lair. I've also taken a portable urinal for kids (search on Amazon). Make sure if they understand, to point ...

Re: What has made you happy today
The school had a load of free books to help ourselves to. Over the last 2 days we appear to have brought 68 home! My son and I believe you can never have enough books - and that's why hes exceeding expectations at school for reading. So, if anybody finds themselves too intoxicated to read at Bloodst...

Re: Dress Code for Blood stock festival
Update to the Dress Code: Everyone is supposed to wear something pink to honour Sophie Lancaster's mum. I can honestly say I have zero items of clothing or anything that is pink to wear at this moment in time.... Charity shops are your friend! Most pink items for morris dance kit have been found by...

Insight from mine and Noodle's 6 1/2 year old: Putin is really really dumb what's the point in going in and destroying everything as if he does take over there will be nothing left for him he is just dumb and a horrible person. All the ghosts of the dead people will follow him wherever he goes and m...

Re: What pissed you off today
Ankle totally went over again at the weekend and still in a lot of pain. Typical as I'm off to Barefoot Festival this weekend after months of waiting to be back in a field camping.

Woken at 4.30 am by another choking fit gasping for air and making me throw up. This went on for around half an hour.

Re: What pissed you off today
I've been told if I put in a complaint I'll get the breaks no problem. I also won't get enough hours to pay my rent as he'll just cut me down to the minimum he can get away with (which with a zero hour contract - I'm fucked). Unfortunately the amount of hours I work I cannot get an interview anywhe...

It feels like the baby is up against my ribs on the right. Not very comfy and not good considering we have at least 3 hours car travel ahead of us.

We have to bring all the patients in at the same time - even if there's 7 or 8 on a list. Mainly because some get cancelled last minute due to various reasons (patients turning up after having their breakfast, patients with too high a Blood pressure, patient not stopping necessary medication). It m...

Re: What has made you happy today
I had my 6th and last counseling session today. All in all, I feel like it's really helped. I still have suicidal or self-harming thoughts every day, but at least I know why and how to deal with them. My counselor has also taught me, if at least for a while, that I am worth something. I matter, and...

My 7 year old nephew Harry has been selected to be a mascot and walk on the pitch with the Liverpool football team not this weekend but next at their game against Man U! That's going to be one very excited boy.
Also, my cousin's fiancée is in labour so by tomorrow we should have a new family member.

Just ordered a pack of newborn Pampers nappies (because they were half price). It seems so strange and grown-up and stuff.
