https://consequenceofsound.net/2018/02/ac-dc-will-continue-touring-record-new-music-with-axl-rose-report/ Who would of bet that in the 10 years after the eventual release of Chinese Democracy that Axl would have reunited with the near original line up of G'N'R and seemingly replaced Brian Johnson i...

Pubs may stay open longer for the royal wedding.... It's on a Saturday. Surely most pubs that want to stay open later are open later anyway? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-42595480 Had to laugh at the news report on TV the other day that equated the pubs opening longer on the day of the weddi...

Re: What made you Lol Today?
My friend's "5 days holiday from work" drinks he posted on Facebook. 18 bottles of red wine, 10 bottles of tonic wine and 20 500ml bottles of beer. That's double the weekly recommended limit. Per day. The man is an absolute machine. I was going to say how did he get over the hangovers but...

Chris Tsangarides RIP
Worked on some of the best albums around, looking at my music collection he made a big impact.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Anyways. It seems that the deal for Coutinho is going ahead. At last they finally got the message that we want actual money not stupid clauses. 100 mil upfront with the rest in add on's apparently, the add on's are guaranteed not dependent on CL progress or Balon D'or stipulating crap. Wonder if th...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
And it wasn't a professional sport 10, 20 or 30 years ago? Blimey SKY Sports really have brainwashed the kids into thinking football didn't exist before the Premier League. Put it this way I doubt many "professionals" of today would last five minutes with players like Norman Hunter, Chopp...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Now half the team don't play cup matches, get suspensions because of all the yellow cards and seem to get injuries all the time. ...much fewer injuries unfair comparison though, far more rules nowerdays (and a culture of diving) and with stricter enforcement that leads to more cards and suspensions...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Guardiola claiming the festive fixture list is killing players, I get the point and for other teams it's an issue; bit rich when you consider the players City have on the bench though, not like he's picking the kids.

Can't be many matches where both managers get sacked. Both Boro and Wednesday sacked their managers even though they are both mid table. It's getting ridiculous. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42472402 You feel sorry for someone losing their job right before xmas, but this being football they'...

Belgium, Tunisia and Panama, can't see us having any bother getting out of that group. Hopefully  We'll make it a lot harder than it has to be, seems to be our specialty  I imagine we'll come second in the group then lose to Poland or Columbia in the last 16; if we get lucky and manage to...
