Really? Doesn't seem that different from previous line ups tbh

Re: HRH metal 4

The Three Tremors were just bad. Walked off after about 3 songs - its a shame, I love Ripper but they just sounded messy. I felt really bad for Rhapsody of Fire. They were amazing, but a combination of not going on until nearly 12 and the venue being dicks and not letting people in meant they lost ...

Re: HRH metal 4

Well that was a good weekend, got to see some decent bands and have some laughs. Did anyone else see the Three Tremors? So bad it was good  Though I did notice the biggest crowd for the weekend was Evil Scarecrow. For all the moaning about their positioning at BOA, they pulled a far bigger crow...

Overheard the crew lot say it's replacing it.

Personally think the line up has potential (especially for the price); good few bands in there already.

That is good news! I can't tell if their on Sat or (harder to attend) Sunday though.

Ah, now that appears to be the catch, I think they're the Sunday headliner

Re: Next Announcement

this is looking like one of the best lineups for me since I started attending in 2013. It's the best one since 2017 for me, even with the incomplete line up so far  with sunday main looking complete where abouts do you think the sophie bands will be and clash with? Unless it's stated where i.e...

Took like 5/10 mins to get the wristband and then after that it's just walk into a venue with a visible wristband; I managed to jump between venues with no issues other than foot traffic in Camden.

Re: Bands that got away... so far.

I just thought of another! Borknagar! However, they play so infrequently (usually london, natch) I'm not surprised I haven't seen them. Good news then, playing HRH Vikings in Sheffield in November(?) Without just spamming out Thrash bands I'll stick to the bigger names  Aerosmith and AC/DC spr...

Re: 2020 Albums

Be interesting where Machine Head would be on a festival line up nowerdays if they ever did fests again; the latest song just accelerates their recent decline rather than stops it.

Re: Next Announcement

Happy with most of the bands in the announcement but it does feel like filler, don't have much hope for the last few main stage slots tbh.

Friday looks to be the strongest day so far for me, Saturday starts well but falls off a cliff and Sunday is more misses than hits for me.

Re: Next Announcement

It's not very deep I'm afraid. Since 2015 there have been more bands on that stage that I want to see than the main stage, the band I've been most excited about has been there, and all of the new discoveries I make have been there (with the notable exception of Ghost Bath). Different strokes and al...
