Re: Destruction + Suicidal Angels + Crisix Tour

Like for like replacement but still would of liked to have seen SA again. Shame it's at the Dome now, really like 229. Either way I'll take it, shall be a good way to see the year out That's usually around the headbangers tour so maybe SA are doing that again. Do they usually repeat bands? Never re...

Re: Next Announcement

Really shocked Lost Society are openers. Surely they are way bigger than Svalbard? Seems odd. Lost Society aren't very big, their last UK tour took in venues like The Boston Arms in London which is 200 capacity according to google (either way it's small from when I've been). Think Svalbard have mor...

Any news on if the support is the same?

Not sure, the poster I saw with the new dates didn't mention who the support was

Ah thanks, I'll have to keep my eyes on that then

Re: 2020 Albums

Currently checking out the new Testament. Too soon for me to say how it ranks against their back catalog, as it only came out today!! Might be soon but it's been awhile since an album hit me so hard so quick. I usually reserve judgement for a few days but this one had immediate impact. Wasn't...

Tuesday

Thanks. Wonder if its going to be anything more than the Lost Society one they leaked the other week.

Maybe one or two extra bands but I expect it to just be officially announcing the leaked bands.

Re: Insomnium & Omnium Gatherum - Webcast

So that's a 17:00 start in the UK then?

Haven't seen Insomnium for a few years and my diary is surprisingly empty so why not

Re: 2020 Albums

Not albums from this year but I've been trying to listen to thrash bands from this century that I've never bothered with before. Warbringer, Exmortus, Terrifer, Amken, Tantara and Ultra-violence are all good so far. I approve  Speaking of thrash, Testament's new album is out. On the first few ...

Re: Incineration Fest 2021 - Camden Town 08/05/21

They said on FB they hope to book most of this year's line up for this so that's good as I was really looking forward to it this year. Didn't see that, what was the quote? If they can keep Tsjuder, Mgla and Shining doing Black jazz from this year, then it would be a pretty good rescue. Can't find t...

Re: coronavirus and its effects on the economy of Metal

Got me a Ziltoid hand puppet to support ol' Devin and to break the tedium a bit. I approve of this, also one positive of this situation is that Devin is making new music and tweaking old ones whilst in lockdown (all on livestream too). All of it is on YouTube completely free to listen to. It amazes...

Re: Incineration Fest 2021 - Camden Town 08/05/21

Emperor I can give or take but if none of the other headliners take my fancy I'll give them another go. If the move to a 4th venue doesn't mean more filler (ala BOA where the first few bands on each stage are pub bands or the Underworld and Black Heart both host small bands) I'm all for it. They sai...

Re: coronavirus and its effects on the economy of Metal

The Bloodstock Forum's favourite Hardcore band Hatebreed have postponed their new album indefinitely because it's impossible for the CDs and vinyls to be pressed since all the factories in North America and Europe are shutting down, plus retailers are closed too. Obviously most music is consumed di...

Unsurprising really, was due to be the peak of all this. Sucks for those who were going though.

Re: Incineration Fest - Camden Town 09/05/20

With it being 3 seperate venues I can see why co-ordinating a new date would be difficult, and that''s on top of the possibility of the new date also having to be moved again.

Shame really, line up looked stacked this year (and it looked like I wasn't going to have many clashes as well).
