Re: Next Announcement

Earlier in this thread someone said they asked on Facebook and it was confirmed Idle Hands would be playing next year - presumably asking Idle Hands directly rather than Bloodstock. That was months ago, just after the cancellation statement, but hopefully this remains true/they are the band who hav...

Re: Next Announcement

Can't argue with Mercyful Fate; heavily requested on here and makes perfect sense as an alternative to Behemoth. I'm quite surprised they've opted for two "classic" headliners tbf - I was half expecting them to go for someone contemporary like Volbeat! Chuffed with the announcement, althou...

Re: What's upset you?

Yeah it's getting to me too. Didn't hit me until this weekend. :( Meh was it that bad? The weather was nice at the weekend and you were spared from witnessing a horrific BOA line up, plus the virtual fest was fun. Yep. A couple in our camp got married a few days before Bloodstock so this year was d...

Haven't played since 2013 so well overdue! Perhaps give them Hatebreed's headlining slot on Sunday night on the Sophie stage and let carnage ensue! :D

Re: The Swedish Invasion 2021 (Dismember, Tiamat & Others)

Those Entombed and Tiamat sets are tempting me but I'm gonna hold off on a ticket until we see gigs starting to resume again.

Shrapnel

Bloodstock alumni with a fantastic new album out. Would love to see them open the main stage this time!

Re: Next Announcement

My guess for replacement headliner is Trivium on the strength of their latest release. Or perhaps Ghost as they're guaranteed to shift to tickets!

Re: Next Announcement

Gutting news but inevitable of course :( Bloodstock has played a boss move though by adding an extra day alongside opening the Sophie, New Blood and Jager stages all day on the Thursday! With most of this year's bands already confirmed for next year, rolling my early bird ticket forward is a no brai...

Re: UK Death Fest

Shame but inevitable. Gonna hold on to my ticket until next year. The plus side of all these postponements is that I'll basically have no tickets to pay out for next year!

Re: Razor - Debut UK Show

That's three out of four gigs I was planning to go to this month postponed, this virus can do one already! Luckily I hadn't paid out for travel/hotel already for this so haven't lost any money. Thank god Grand Magus is still going ahead tonight in Norwich!

Re: Coronavirus

Shame about HRH AOR and Hammerfest. I was really looking forward to both and have a couple of weeks booked off work for them. Still, I see where the organizers are coming from with bands traveling in from different parts of the world and the risk to older people etc. Apparently they'll be getting in...
