Re: Next Announcement
Yeah the podcast was an interesting listen. Good to hear they've got multiple contingencies in place for the festival this year. Whatever they put on, I'll be there!

Re: What blew your mind today
I switched from Spotify to TIDAL this morning and the audio difference is amazing! Even their basic TIDAL PREMIUM subscription is noticeably better than the highest quality Spotify streams but I found a 6 month free trial for TIDAL HiFi which offers lossless. That's interesting! I've recently been ...

Bloodstock Playlist
In an attempt to keep the dream alive, I've been working on a Bloodstock playlist over on Spotify. One song per band announced so far, to be updated as/if more bands are announced. Keep the music loud and the beer flowing! Hopefully see you in a field this year! https://open.spotify.com/playl...

Re: 2021 albums
In an attempt to keep up to date with new releases, I've been working on writing weekly roundups on my blog if anyone fancies a look: https://metal-daze-reviews.blogspot.com/2021/01/weekly-roundup_14.html Covered the Frozen Soul album this week (what a banger!) along with some trad metal from Midnig...

Re: The Special Song Request Thread (and why)
No idea if the requests set is going ahead, though Devin did do a special lockdown show that was specifically the Bloodstock setlist. It was: Velvet Kevorkian (Strapping Young Lad song) All Hail the New Flesh (Strapping Young Lad song) By Your Command Almost Again (Strapping Young Lad song) Juular ...

Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread
I haven't had a beer since pubs shut on 2nd November. Thought it would be a good idea to challenge myself to no beer until pubs re-open but turns out not many will be opening come 2nd December. I haven't really missed beer tbh, just miss going somewhere different and socializing! Good luck wit...

Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread
The last few minutes were spent thinking, "WTF, this whisky bottle is drunk-adult-proof...then I got the box off the top that was holding my bonus whiskey glass. Okay, now that I've gone from cider to whisky and I've got my headphones on as I crank a mix CDR into my ear drums, let's remember t...

Idle Hands' logo has changed on the line-up page to the new Unto Others logo and yes Jay, it's still got cobwebs

Are you getting them mixed up with Noctem? Although now you mention it, I'm sure Necrot were on the lineup before

Re: Next Announcement
Yep over the moon to see Idle Hands and Exhumed back on the bill. Garganjua and King Goat are tasty additions too.
Idle Hands are having legal trouble with their name at the min though so will be interesting to see how they rebrand themselves

Re: Next Announcement
Earlier in this thread someone said they asked on Facebook and it was confirmed Idle Hands would be playing next year - presumably asking Idle Hands directly rather than Bloodstock. That was months ago, just after the cancellation statement, but hopefully this remains true/they are the band who hav...

Re: Next Announcement
Can't argue with Mercyful Fate; heavily requested on here and makes perfect sense as an alternative to Behemoth. I'm quite surprised they've opted for two "classic" headliners tbf - I was half expecting them to go for someone contemporary like Volbeat! Chuffed with the announcement, althou...
