BIg Green Coach appear to have jumped the gun: https://www.biggreencoach.co.uk/events/bloodstock-festival-tickets-coach-travel D'Opeth, more bar time I guess. Also, Flogging Molly & Hellripper have disappeared from the lineup page :( Was just about to post this, Big Green Coach have sure messed...
My guess would be Scorpions returning - with either Helloween or Blind Guardian as special guests seems as Scorpions are at Wacken and Blind Guardian are at Metal Days next year. Or maybe Emperor headlining to satisfy the heavier fans (also at Metal Days next year).
The Good: - Toilets. Immaculate all weekend both in the campsites and arena. Always stocked with loo roll too. Big up the toilet team for doing an excellent job! - Weather. Aside from getting drenched during Knocked Loose, it stayed pretty overcast and warm all weekend. Better than last year's heatw...
I actually like almost all of the replacement bands this year over the original bookings. Festival looks pretty darn good from my perspective now. I agree. Love Anthrax but Triptykon doing Celtic Frost has the added rarity appeal. Candlemass replacing Whitechapel is a massive improvement and gives ...
Also chuffed with Candlemass! :D Shame that Whitechapel were prioritised as a headliner over them tbh. Actually gives us an alternative to core on the Friday night which is nice. I was actually meant to be seeing them next month at HRH Spring Break but in typical HRH fashion their name has mysteriou...
Just catching up with the latest slew of announcements. Neither Meshuggah or Helloween are particularly to my tastes but both were heavily requested so fair play to the Bloodstock team for listening to the fans. It's probably the most positive reaction they've had to an announcement in ages. F...
I see Powerwolf are playing London the 29th. Could see them taking either slot tbh. Special guests to Helloween would work well although Saxon's tour is also finishing up around the same time...
Couple of ideas about the final headliner: - Charlie Benante from Anthrax posted that he's drumming on the Pantera reunion tour. With Anthrax already playing on the Saturday could Pantera be the headliner? I sincerely hope not. I'd rather have my a rabid gibbon playing buzzsaw than watch racist Phi...
Couple of ideas about the final headliner: - Charlie Benante from Anthrax posted that he's drumming on the Pantera reunion tour. With Anthrax already playing on the Saturday could Pantera be the headliner? - Volbeat and Clutch are both touring in December. Clutch have been requested a lot and Volbea...
Decent enough announcement. Anthrax and Sepultura are always wins for me. Looking forward to catching In Flames and Ugly Kid Joe for the first time too. Heard good things about Church of the Cosmic skull. Sophie stage headliners aren't looking too thrilling. Maybe they have something special planned...
