The Scottish Cup Final?
I think that's when the Watching Paint Dry Final is on. Much more interesting.

Re: Forum Memories
Sniper Dogs was quite funny actually. Especially as it was a druggy that was paranoid about his "stash" getting found. I actually do remember something about this, some guy coming on here asking how easy it was to smuggle weed in. Can't imagine a typo being that hilarious though. That was...

Peter Wyngarde. RIP.
I was actually named after his main character Jason King. Another one that was a regular in all the classic TV series, including Doctor Who.

Pubs may stay open longer for the royal wedding....
It's on a Saturday. Surely most pubs that want to stay open later are open later anyway?

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Anyways. It seems that the deal for Coutinho is going ahead. At last they finally got the message that we want actual money not stupid clauses. That's how you do deals United. Buy a player for a few million, then sell him for a lot more. Not sell him for a pittance and buy him back for £89 million. ...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Well I've seen both and will stand by my view that very few modern footballers are even close to being as talented as many of the players that I've seen. It's just that they are more hyped up and you get to see them on TV more whereas even in the 1990s you got occasional games and brief highlights o...

Johan Cruyff was another one.
Lithe, athletic and skilful, but was a heavy smoker and even used to light up at half time.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Now half the team don't play cup matches, get suspensions because of all the yellow cards and seem to get injuries all the time. ...much fewer injuries unfair comparison though, far more rules nowerdays (and a culture of diving) and with stricter enforcement that leads to more cards and suspensions...
