Re: So much for Iced Earth...
Stu Block seems to be ambivalent at best but I saw a screenshot of some comments from him on Facebook which were more supportive of Jon. Century Media will probably refuse to work with him and he might end up as a pariah to the community. If he ends up in jail then both bands will probably be done ...

Re: So much for Iced Earth...
May be all a moot point anyway as I don't know if the other members of Iced Earth and Demons & Wizards will want anything to do with him after this Stu Block seems to be ambivalent at best but I saw a screenshot of some comments from him on Facebook which were more supportive of Jon. Century Me...
Re: Ward xvi
Expect to see them more at HRH events seeing as they have just been signed to their record label.

Re: Next Announcement
Was that written by the work experience kid? Very poorly written for something which comes from a major media outlet which used to be respected around the world. I can understand tiny festivals which attracts a few hundred people not having full insurance, but if you are running a festival with more...

Re: Next Announcement
Glastonbury takes about a month to build. I would guess that they had to cancel earlier to avoid losing too much on contractors. Download takes 12 days and bloodstock about 7... so comparatively a lot less time. Maybe Glastonbury was more under the gun in terms of having to make a decision whereas ...

Re: Coronavirus
I would suggest it's more down to logistics than anything else. Or bands threatening to pull out completely. Usually the Yanks (remember all the tours being cancelled after 9/11?) Unless you are in the Far East or Italy there isn't currently any problems. You aren't even being told not to travel. Th...

Re: Next Announcement
Savage Master are decent. I've you like bands like Warlock, Dio and 1980s US Power/Speed Metal they will be right up your street. Must admit I haven't heard of the others apart from Pist and Blasphemer. And looking at the descriptions I know why, "Modern hard rock crew", what does that eve...

Re: Next Announcement
I don't get all the negativity on here. Hoblin Goblin IPA is still on the line up and there will be music too! Might be back at the camp for Black Dahlia Murder but the rest are ok. Yes. But you can get it in 'Spoons for £2.30 and even cheaper if you go to a cheap supermarket. Rather than the £4 or...

Re: worst band on the lineup ?
- Diamond Head, if i wanted to see grandads on their death beds, I'd just go to the old folks home :o Yeah. A bit bizarre seeing as it's only Tatler that is anywhere near old and they are far from being the worst band on this line up. Even though the "new" singer is a bit ropey. Similar c...

I'm hoping Kreator for Saturday special guest
Can't see Kreator supporting Behemoth. I was thinking Sodom, Rage, Grave Digger or Destruction maybe.

More likely to clash with Saxon which is just as bad.

Decent announcement to get people to buy early bird tickets. Then I expect nothing else of interest to get added. Still sitting on the fence about whether not to bother for the first time.
Needs some German Thrash.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
It's time to get rid of the multi-millionaire, public school educated, racist, serial womanizer who has never done a days work in his life.

Re: Next Announcement
Why not ask this forum or even the awful FB page for 2-3 Priest songs that they would Petition for Turbo IN FULL So they are going to play an album that totally tanked in the UK, where they lost vast amounts of their UK fanbase, for which they boycotted the UK on the tour and refused to play here f...

Re: Next Announcement
Worth pointing out to those that weren't around that European bands didn't tend to play the UK unless they were established or got a decent support slot. It wasn't a case of jumping on Easyjet or going through the Channel Tunnel. Mercyful Fate were meant to support Manowar in 1984 but pulled out and...
