Fear Factory and Symphony X are 2 bands I'll happily watch but don't really care about.
Never listened to Acid Reign, if they're clashing with Mastodon they don't really have a chance with me.

Re: Next Announcement Thread
100% spamming here, but I wrote an article for Audio Addict about five bands I want to see at Bloodstock. Please feel free to have a read and tell me I'm a knob/listen to shit bands or that you agree with me and want to have passionate sex to Imaginations From The Other Side. http://audioaddictmag.c...
Re: Kvelertak
Would be a fucking great Sophie headliner, maybe as an alternative to Slayer, or just after Mastodon. I'm surprised nobody here has used the "h*****r" word yet.

Re: Next announcement
Praying for Blind Guardian. As I have for the past few years. But this time its possible as its the right slot for them, their only UK tour date has been announced long enough now for BOA to not compromise ticket sales. And their new album is out today. The stars have aligned on this day, let's hop...

Re: Rumours
I meant more archetypal of being a bit of a gateway band. They had that nu metal sound when I was finding stuff for myself and that's their style that I think of fondly. However a lot of people a few years younger love Getting Away With Murder style stuff from them instead. Tweaked their sound to f...

Re: Rumours
Willing to bet a good chunk of say 12- 18 year olds currently listening to Scuzz/Metal Hammer bands will move onto better stuff by their early to mid twenties and rarely look back. There's a lot of them that don't though, and that's really creepy. It's like a 24 year old that still goes for 15 year...

Re: Rumours
My mate plays in a southern rock covers band, and they used to inexplicably end with that fuckawful 'Bodies' song, to which I'd slam my glass down and storm out until the gig was over. They stopped doing it after a few times. 10ish songs, most of which are VERY debatable to be diplomatic doesn't rea...

Re: Rumours
I like Underoath Are they c0re? Yeah, but with a massive amount of alternative rock and even post-rock thrown in. Although I doubt I'd feel the same way if I heard them for the first time now, I still fucking love Define The Great Line and Lost in The Sound of Seperation , and I think they're genui...

Re: Rumours
Metalcore is fucking awful and it's been turning Metal into some kind of homosexual pop parade for the past 10 years and it needs to stop! Nu-Metal is good though it's pretty fun and harmless. Metalcore is largely awful, but anyone who thinks the phrase "homosexual pop parade" is a legiti...

You also like Emmure. You're no longer allowed an opinion on what constitutes good music on this forum![]()
I'll never live that down
Emmure are quite possibly the worst band of all time. Or at least in the top 3 with Limp Bizkit and Atilla.

Re: Sophie stage headliners
I personally think Enslaved and Agalloch should be moved into the tent as headliners (or possibly sub-headliners), it'd suit them better and given the Sister Sin/Hellyeah debacle this year Bloodstock have shown they're not completely above changing their minds about initial plans.

What's The Deal With The Line Up Posters?
Just something I've noticed, but there's a number of differences in the order between the website line-up and the 'poster' designs on the Facebook page. Does anyone know if this has happened before, or which one is more likely to be right? It seems weird that Orange Goblin are currently below Propan...

That'd be wonderful. Unfortunately it may be the same case of wishful thinking that led me to believe that Mastodon, Nightwish and Priest would headline the mainstage.
