Re: Next Announcement
Really hope it doesn't sell out before I can afford mine, or win one from fanteamz, does anyone know what happens to the fanteamz ones if they sell out? Cheers

Re: Blind Guardian
When I gave them a listen I quite liked the older more speed or trad metal stuff, but find it very hard to get into the more over the top stuff. Think I will try and watch them out of curiosity, as long as there are no clashes, will have to give Imaginations another listen.

Re: Blind River
I get up fairly late by festival standards, I am on quite alot of medication, and need alot of sleep, combine that with alhohol  but I still get up way earlier than I normally do. I try to make the most of my time with bands and the arena, but sometimes you just want to sit around talking rubbi...

Re: Best / Worst BOA line-ups
I think 2011 looks like the best overall line up, way more proper metal bands and far less mainstream American and core stuff, most metal genres covered without too much of one thing. It looks the archetypal Bloodstock line up before they started relying more heavilly on repeats and non metal bands....

Re: Few quick questions
Make friends with people camped by you. There are loads of people who have brought far too much beer with them. People were leaving entire crates last year. Totally this, the amount of times I've bought far too much and not drank it all! And friends used collect aload of left over beer and ta...

I'm not a betting man, but I'd put money on it being Beholder.

Ffdp? Hatebreed?
No seriously band's I'd like that have never played (as far as I'm aware) -
Ministry
Brutal Truth
Terrorizer
Demolition Hammer
Sacred Reich
Tankard
Deicide
Six Feet Under
Hypocrisy
Raven
Running Wild
Savatage

Garden Of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch. You can buy it as a rather fetching dress if you want. https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1tJImIXXXXXXEXFXXq6xXFXXX0/Hell-Garden-of-Earthly-Delights-Bosch-Reversible-Shiny-Stretchy-One-Piece-Dress.jpg https://www.facebook.com/groups/skeletonsofanarchy/ Yea...

Re: 2017 Merch Online
Most of those are pretty good but this https://bmerch.com/dev/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/faceripper.jpg is an abomination. If that shirt was a band it would be King 810 - bloody awful You say that, after reading your comment I decided to look at some of their merch, good god  http://img.cdn2.w...

Re: Next Announcement
Looks like I've got more listening to do. I don't think we've quite enough Thrash yet Bloodstock!
Havok are good though.
Yeah I'd bet on Beholder taking up one of the last main stage slots too.

Re: Bloodstock 2018???
I think Trivium's crowd fairly reflects their standing in metal. If we're going for top three, maybe: Friday VOLBEAT Saxon Sodom Saturday SABATON Devin Townsend Project Accept Sunday MINISTRY In Flames Helloween That they are awful? Trivium can fuck right off. That would be pretty awsome! Thi...

Re: Next Announcement
Hatebreed are alot better than King 810, but that doesn't say much. I actually like a bit of Hatebreed, but what is pissing me and alot of people off about them is how regularly they play Bloodstock and take a big slot, when they are arguably not metal and many see them as not the kind of band appro...

Re: What Are We Waiting For?
I totally agree with those a few pages back saying Download looks weak, very little for me there, about 2 bands I'd want to see each day! I'm actually going on the friday cause a friend won us free tickets, There's only SOAD and Exodus I want to see, and they will both probably clash. Guess Download...

Re: Next Announcement
Was thinking maybe Clutch as they've got close ties to Lionize but they're on tour in the US in August. I would of thought too big for any of the remaining slots, where do you see them? I think it would have to be at least 3rd down, possibly special guests, or am I overestimating their size? Can se...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
Good too see Lib Dem catching up! I will be voting for Liberal Democrats (there are only really 2 choices in my area) and hope for a surprise Labour victory. Such is the power of the Tory control over the media, and extent of their smear campaign and slander towards Corbyn that it's hardly surprisin...
