Re: Within Temptation/Evanescence

Definitely going to go, love WT. CBA with Evanescence, but it feels like ages since I've seen WT.

They were so good, watched as much as I could without missing the start of Anaal Nathrakh, would be a great Sophie stage band.

Re: Electric Wizard

^ Seen them umpteen times and they've only been rubbish the once.

Fantastic at Brutal Assault. Never thought I'd say this but they blew Emperor away playing straight after. Well overdue.

Re: Nightwish European Tour 2020

Last year's Wembley show was one of my favourites of all time due to the older tracks, but always love seeing Nightwish. Will wait for the inevitable UK date.

Don't ask. Wife, kids, commitments.

Next: Tomb Mold / Ritual Necromancy / Of Feather and Bone / Slimelord at Nambucca. Can't wait for this one.

The fact that Tomb Mold sold out makes me feel less bad about not being able to afford to go. Kind of.

Re: Next Announcement

I don't think Fate are big enough to headline, going by this year's headlines unfortunately.

Am hoping for a separate London show tbh.

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Brutal Assault. Talked about in on the Gigs subsection.

Next might be Bong at the Black Heart on the 25th, if can afford a trip to London before payday, then definitely going to see Abduction at the Dev on 5th September.

Re: Brutal Assault 2019

Great festival. Stayed mostly dry and with lots of sun. Everyone friendly and prices relatively cheap (definitely higher than when I went in 2017, but still can't begrudge £2 a beer, £4 a double/absinth-lemonade, £4 cigarettes and around £4-6 for GOOD food) Frog Leap were good fun the opening night,...

Would want Mercyful Fate, but that won't happen and I'll end up going elsewhere to see them.
