Re: Sublime Terror Fest London 16th to 18th October

It depends on if they get a big name considering a lot of those announced are VERY niche.

Shame about LOTL. I went in 2017 (or whichever year it was Autopsy) and had one of the best days of my life.

Re: Sublime Terror Fest London 16th to 18th October

UKDF wise it's not 'new' perse the brand is established with the Maryland and Netherlands versions, and they also have the Quebec, California and Stockholm ones so I think it's less risky. It's cosmic void's ticket prices that are going to harm it as an absolute newcomer.

Maybe it's just not your genre, pretty much every band is class. It's pretty much UK's answer to Killtowndeathfest in Copenhagen

Re: Sublime Terror Fest London 16th to 18th October

How many of these bloody weekenders are be putting on???!! Don't they realise people don't want to go to gigs literally ever weekend? There's so many London festivals now it's getting stupid. Desertfest, Incineration Fest, Snuff-fest, Finnfest, Sublime Terror Fest, UK death fest, Cosmic Void fest j...

Re: UK Death Fest

I feel like I am up to date on death metal and I haven't even heard of 8 of the 20 bands announced. Massively relying on the draw of Autopsy and Nuclear Assault there. I went to Netherland Deathfests 16-18 and 17 had by far the best lineup and from 18 onward it's definitely gone down hill. This is 2...

It's £100 with the booking fee which is ridiculous.

Ah balls, would be all over it, but from experience Easter travel into London is too horrendous to want to contemplate it.

Re: Om - UK Tour

A combination of this being in Hackney which is a shithole, and more importantly being only a few days before going to Poland for Mystic Fest means I'll give it a miss.

Re: Wormrot UK dates

Venue is ok. Getting there is not. If I have to leave early like I did with Exciter, I'll be missing half their set, being a grindcore band.

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

Is that the Spectral Voice gig with Abyssal? I've had my eye on that too but will probably have to give it a miss as December is already looking busy. Yeah that's the one. I've seen Abyssal, SV and Grave Miasma before, but all three together I can't resist. How was it? Fairly gutted I couldn't make...

Re: 2019 Gigs

So for those who have finished their gig-going for 2019, I thought we'd have ourselves a good ol' list! (My last one is Clutch tomorrow so I'll do mine after that) How many gigs did you go to this year? 12 and Brutal Assault How many/which festivals did you go this year? Brutal Assault What were yo...
