Re: Next announcement

Looks like maybe a day ticket now that Graspop has sold out, so that I can see Mercyful Fate, but even then the rest of the day is dogshit so it would be begrudgingly

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Boring, boring episode. With 5 left I thought something more might start happening.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Like I say was just a kid when I played it first time, who knows if I'll like it now. I loved blitzball back then, and couldn't stand it now, so not holding out a lot of hope. Anyway, on football manager '19 I started a game with Slough. Thought it might be a different prospect to managing a prem te...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I tried to 100% it and yeah, the sidequests are what made it interesting, and remember the combat being good too. Only ever played it the once like a decade a go so will be good to play again anyway.

Re: Computer Games Thread

I wasted several hundreds of hours on that game. Speedruns are really interesting to watch too if you have half a day. Currently playing the shit out of Osu Mania. Might see if I can get Etterna working too. Back in the day as a kid I didn't know lots of the tricks to get sphere levels quickly, or ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I've done dark valefor, shiva, ifrit and ixion, so got the rest to go. As a kid I just did those then basically tried to do Zanmato on the rest inc. penance. I wanna do it legit this time, but getting luck and fortune spheres is so time consuming. I also missed tidus' crest/sigil thing after the yun...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Final fantasy 10 remaster, was my favourite game as a teen. I forgot how time consuming trying to get your stats up to the point where you can beat the hardest superbosses is. About 65 hours in and still grinding away at that. I've done thirty seasons in football manager 2019 in two different playth...

Brutal Assault posting on FB that Dimmu Borgir had dropped out, then literally every comment being "thank god for that!" or some iteration thereof

Re: What should happen with Brexit?

I still need to read through the deal agreed by May, just not had the chance. I voted remain, but am conscious of the reasons people want to leave. People can say "I know what I voted for" as much as they like, but no one could predict the deal May could bring, so that's a load of crud. It...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Tutor at university hasn't responded to any of my emails all week regarding both my upcoming assignments, despite saying she wanted to sign off on them before we went ahead - and wouldn't see anyone after class on Tuesday as she needed to leave when it finished, meaning it's a weekend I can't spend ...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Hate accidental errors costing extra money. Being idiotic enough to book the coach from Munich to Prague for the wrong day and then being charged a 19 euro cancellation fee. And by time I finally got an answer off both mates three person + large tent VIP camping for brutal assault sold out, and havi...

Re: What has made you happy today

Sorted my summer holiday. 3 nights in Munich in a nice hotel, followed by Brutal Assault festival, followed by 3 nights in Prague in a nice 2 bed apartment on airbnb. Flights, festival ticket and those 6 nights accommodation coming to just over £300 for an 11 night holiday. I know I will need to pay...

Re: Non-Metal Music Chat

Slowdive new album coming out 5th May, not been this excited for a new album for a long while!

Surprise show announced yesterday for today, managed to get a ticket and see my one for Mayhem down the road. I've never felt so untrve (but will see them at LOTL Saturday)
