Re: The Ale Thread.

I'll be on the lookout for more stuff by them. Tempted to get some delivered at some point. Maybe around Christmas

So cannibal corpse have a beer now. Thoughts? Idea worth a punt, or just cashing in on the band beer craze?

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Well, not bothered initially, but in honesty I am glad because clearly a lot of you guys have been praying for this to happen. I think it's an unbelievably smart move too. I bet when day tickets go on sale, that'll be the first one to sell out.

Kunt live is something that everyone should experience. If they could manage to get something going on between Kunt and Devvo too, that'd be pretty awesome. Be a nice change to Dayton vs Pritchard

I was drinking this stuff the other day. It really does taste like a pint of Malibu. http://www.yourround.co.uk/ViewImage.aspx?TableName=Drinks&IdColumn=DrinkID&Value=900000017703&FieldName=DrinkLogo&ImageType=MobileBeerMicrositeDrinkLogo http://real-ale.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Motley Crue, etc. Given this is their farewell tour, and that they've signed a contract forbidding them to play together as Mötley Crüe after December 31st this year, I think the chances of us seeing them at Bloodstock next year are slim ;-) Thank gawd for that. To be honest I just threw a fe...

Re: Personal opinions on VIP

Being in disabled really did make a difference this year. It wasn't straight down and into the arena, but still better than the walk, and the busy flow of people going in and out of the entry point. Plus, it was really nice to be out of the way of all the noise. Seeing the VIP area from the other si...

Personal opinions on VIP

So, I'm about 90% sold on going to next year's festival anyway. I'm thinking if doing it as self pitch VIP this time around. I've mentioned it to people, but it's still early doors for them, and they'll probably want to see who is going to be on the bill before they decide. While I'm waiting on peop...

Re: Sleep

I Really think it would make sense to have them both; sleep sl headline and high on fire on a middle of the day slot on the dio stage. Would definitely complement each other, and essentially getting two with one band member in common

Right; Devin Townsend Project (even more so if he did something ziltoid related) Sleep Bolt thrower Wolves in the throne room Neurosis Bonus; Fear Factory, if they promise to only play songs off Demanufacture and Soul of a new machine. I'm losing my love for obsolete, and anything past that just ann...

Re: spirit bar / bigger selection of spirits

Good idea in theory, probably not in practice. On top of being too expensive, and something that will probably play a factor in this issue too, they're likely to run the risk of having excessive amounts of stock left over. If they buy a few boxes of x amount of different spirits, and then charge mor...

Re: Sleep

As much as I love EW, I would totally go with Sleep over them. Judging from Basts set this year, if I saw a headline set by Sleep, I may be melted on the spot from the intensity of them. I don't think that SUNN, which has been mentioned in the dream lineup thread, would be a good choice, based on at...

They tasted like rock hard chalk. They were pretty much like shit alphabet sweets. I remember them being really hard t...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

A couple of interesting websites while we're on the subject: http://www.globalfirepower.com/ http://nuclearsecrecy.com/nukemap/ I watched this about six months ago, and I don't really want to delve any further into post nuke apocalypse science any further. I thought the docurama about Chernobyl was...
