Re: What has made you happy today

Might have a house viewing tomorrow. If it's decent we'll have parking, a garden and will be saving £140 a month on rent. Also, I hear the current tenants have a dog, so hopefully I can convince my boyfriend to get a pet! :D

Re: What pissed you off today

Came home from Wacken to find a card through the door. "We tried to deliver your package, but you weren't home, so we left it in your wheelie bin". WTF? It's just fortunately we came home yesterday night rather than today as originally planned. The bins were emptied this morning. I've had...

Re: What pissed you off today

Think this would normally go in trivial grumblings, but having one of those days and this has just really got on my nerves...Sent out a newsletter to staff which was provided by a company we work with and apparently one of the links to a site referenced in it doesn't work. Had an email back from a m...

Re: How do you mak Jagermeister refreshing?

As long as it's cold I'd guess most things. Wouldn't fancy drinking straight from a bottle of Jager which had been in my tent in the heat all day :hurl:

Re: Cooking!

Had baked garlic salmon with spicy kale and butternut squash mash last night. Was rather nice, but does anyone have any tips on how to make the butternut squash mash a bit less 'stringy' (for want of a better word). Was considering mixing it in with regular potatoes or using a hand blender to make i...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Followed both of your advice and apparently the police want to speak to me...think it's probably re: the stapler ransom. Just kidding :) He eventually turned up at 3pm (start time 9am) so I didn't have chance to put any of your *ahem* excellent advice into action. Think I'll just passive-aggressivel...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Only my third post and already grumbling...my boss is going on holiday for two weeks as of Monday leaving me to look after everything (there's only two of us in the team) and for the past three days he's been 'working from home'. He was supposed to be in this morning to let me know if there's anythi...
