Grove Street Families

Crossover Thrash band with some proper nasty riffs. Would be perfect for the Sophie tent.

Re: 2020 Albums

New LP from Lost Society came out today. If you're into bands changing their sound, then I wouldn't bother since this album has more of a groove/metalcore vibe to it (rather than thrash).

Meanwhile, Shrapnel have released a single that'll be on their new album that releases in May. Sounds decent.

Re: Next Announcement

I like the headliners still, but that is, for me, the weakest undercard they have had. I don't even like the headliners, Devin I've never understood the appeal, Behemoth I like but they play everywhere so a headline performance by them hardly makes me buy a ticket, and Priest I like but nothing mor...

Re: Next Announcement

Why not ask this forum or even the awful FB page for 2-3 Priest songs that they would Petition for Turbo IN FULL So they are going to play an album that totally tanked in the UK, where they lost vast amounts of their UK fanbase, for which they boycotted the UK on the tour and refused to play here f...

Re: Download Festival 2020

Is it me or is booking SOAD financial suicide? They haven't released anything from the studio in 14 years and by the look of it, they don't plan to anytime soon.

If not Vio-Lence, I'm holding out for Destruction on the main stage if they can be squeezed in.

I genuinely can't tell if your joking or not. Thankfully they've been confirmed as only playing one European date. I've become confused here...are you suggesting he's joking about Vio-lence never having played the UK or joking to wish they'd be booked, insinuating that they're crap? Eternal Nightma...

Re: Next Announcement

There are still three main stage spots to be filled - one on each day. Possibilities for these are Iron Saviour (new album just released), Visions of Atlantis (a couple of UK shows with Kamelot this week) and Cellar Darling (UK tour about to start and new album to be released on Friday). Just one o...
