Re: Next Announcement

Strange that usually by this time we have a good idea of who we may get but it seems completely up in the air this time. I'd put my money on Priest and Behemoth but I'm not confident in that prediction. Like others have said, this announcement will most likely determine whether I bother next year or...

Re: Next Announcement

It must be Killswitch Engage then. The last show of their UK tour is on Sunday 22nd. Ffs I hope not. First Devin and now this shit? Are they really big enough to headline though? I remember them being only a support for bullet for my valentine a few years back at academy venues and it wasn't even s...

Really is about time we had these back. They've been on the rise now for a few years and haven't played since 2014 when they were practically unknown, so I'm really surprised they haven't turned up in recent years (espcially due to how often they tour over here/play Download). Always seems to be peo...

Re: Turisas

Don't hold out much hope for a new album to be honest, they've been 'hoping to release the new album next year' for about 4 years now! Regardless, they're always great live so would definitely be up for them being added

Re: Unleash the Archers

For the last few years I've wanted these to play. It really is about time! Would make a cracking Thursday headliner

Re: Saxon

Always happy to see Saxon. Never really change up what they do but at least that means you're always guaranteed a good set. With the way the festival has grown I'd say 3rd from top would be the best slot for them

Re: Next Announcement

Skindred always strike me as a band who don't really care about where they play, as long as they get to play. Judging by the lineup on the website it looks like they'll be playing under Vio-Lence, so unless Vio-Lence are special guest (which is highly unlikely, and would've been announced at the tim...

Re: Dimmu Borgir cancel

Looking at lineups of fests happening this weekend, if we're getting a decent sized replacement I think we could get either Carcass, Mayhem or Testament. All 3 are playing European festivals this weekend, none of whom playing on the Sunday. Saxon would be a good suggestion but I think they're nailed...

I saw that in the announcement too but I can't see them being able to find such a big name at such short notice. Can see them bumping Queensryche up and adding a smaller band earlier on in the day

Re: Dimmu Borgir cancel

Beyond gutted about this. Pretty much the band I was looking forward to the most. Really hope they're invited back next year but I have a feeling the special guests are already booked

Re: Clashfinder

OK main differences from the clashfinder are Jager stage finally being moved to fit in the main stage gaps, Giving Ross the Boss extra time and Resin and Inferiem opening both their respective stages (all other bands shuffled up one place. Differences in set times are: Friday Sabaton 2110-2240 Eyes...
