Re: Forum Memories

"Boobgate" was stupid for many reasons, but the one that annoyed me the most about it was the fact if Hannah or someone in that group had done it. Everyone would have been talking her up for the next year rather than making a thing out of it.

Re: Forum Memories

I remember the Forum Member awards that used to happen every year, and you could guarantee every year that someone would complain about the result.

Although I haven't posted here in a long while, I still speak and see people regularly that became friends though.

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Just started Season 2 of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. 5 episodes in and it's significantly better than the first one, feels a bit more Douglas Adams as well which is always nice. Christmas Doctor Who was actually quite entertaining. David Bradley played such a better part than I ever exp...

Re: movies

The Last Jedi is easily the worst of the new Star Wars movies, I would still say overall a good movie. But certainly a lot more unnecessary scenes than any of the others, along with a few continuity issues.

Re: Motorsport Enthusiasts Corner

Contracts / loans suggest that Kimi is expected to retire at the end of 2018 with Ricciardo taking his place. Sainz can then be loan recalled to take the Red Bull position. That's the way I'm reading it anyway.

Didn't Celtic Frost or Triptykon do this and end up with a Christian guy that tried to convert them?

Re: Motorsport Enthusiasts Corner

I love Ricciardo, really hope to see him win a title in the near future. This years Formula 1 was really entertaining at the start of the season, but when Vettel imploded through both bad luck and bad decisions, Hamilton was never gonna let that slip without taking advantage and the final result was...

May not be exciting to most, but I absolutely loved the soundtrack to Zatoichi (Kitano version)

Re: movies

Netflix is very hit and miss, and really depends on if you like whatever genre they are wanking over at the time. Last TV show I watched on it was Dirk Gently, can't even remember the last movie I watched on it.

Re: What pissed you off today

Been trying for a few months now myself, it's stupidly hard. I have a vape and can generally manage about 1-2 weeks on that and then I fail and start smoking again for a week.

How long you been stopped for so far?

Re: The rather morbid celebrity RIP Thread.

Never really liked the Mosley stuff when I first got into Faith No More, but had come to appreciate it a lot more in the last few years when giving the early albums a re-listen. Such a shame when someone goes out to addiction, especially if he had managed to be sober for quite a while as well which ...
