Only Bossk cut from the bands I wanted to see and Hatebreed's replacement should be an improvement. An extra day sounds good for us folk who don't live in places with chance to see smaller bands all year too.
I'll be there, assuming we're freed from lockdown by then.

Re: Next Announcement
Unleash the Archers has all but sold me a ticket, only hesitation now is that I'm still ill from before BOA 2019 and have no diagnosis let alone a cure. Currently waiting on tests for coeliac which doesn't sound good for festivals - from last year's food options I think I'd have had to live on halum...
Re: Soen
Lotus still hasn't really clicked with me but I liked their previous albums so I'd definitely watch them.

They were on my survey for 'who do you want to see next year'

Re: Insomnium
Yes please!
Re: Turisas
Never seen them but would love to, any night Sophie headline spot would be great.

Re: Next Announcement
I still don't get Devin's latest but generally I'm a fan so that's one for Friday, Dark Tranquility on Sunday... just need someone good on Saturday and I'll definitely be there.

Re: First Timer Questions
Thanks for the detailed write up
Hard to skip to the next band while enjoying one but had to be done, seems you have my taste so I may well watch all of them. I'm still not 100% so time for yet another early night then tomorrow I'm going to wake up feeling great.

Re: Obligatory weather topic
I just noticed that the Saturday forecast is for up to 49mph south-westerly winds in the afternoon. Anyone who was at BOA the last time there was some of these winds might have not so fond memories. Remember to put your tent up with the door facing away from the wind direction. https://www.netweath...

Re: First Timer Questions
Thanks! The bands I like are Parkway Drive ... actually no, I've never heard them! Swallow the Sun, Eluveitie, Anthrax and I'll replace Saurr (who aren't who I thought they were ) with Countless Skies. I liked old Children of Bodom with dualing guitars but not sure how they're going to work li...

Re: See tickets.....
Glad it's sorted, rather queue at the box office than having them sitting on your doormat while you're on the bus!

Re: First Timer Questions
Thanks, glad I asked! I'm not a fan but bought the shirt because it's random and colourful, sounds like I should wear one that isn't. As to looking like I'm at the wrong festival that's a given and I've never heard of 90% of the bands playing which won't help. I liked 5 of the 'famous' ones (no Dimm...

Re: See tickets.....
I read this and though 'who would use a dodgy seller' but just realised I did when I bought through the official BOA website!
I hope they sorted you out...

Re: Obligatory weather topic
I just hope they're right that the wind doesn't start 'til Friday - putting up a tent in 30mph gusts would be fun!
