Re: Razor - Debut UK Show

Saw them at NDF, wasn't blown away but I really like their music and at NDF they had some technical issues if memory serves me. The idea of Freedom Call the night before is an added bonus... tempting.

Re: Next Announcement

Let's hope it's another Volbeat scenario whereby we are given the unexpected. I'm not a fan of Killswitch and had the displeasure of seeing them support Maiden last year. Even their show was stereotypical yawnfest Metalcore. Also if they were to headline, what a waste! Especially given the touted '2...

Re: Alice Cooper

Saw him in Manchester last night. Phenomenal show - still one of the best live acts around. A new stage set has been designed and there's been a bit of a shake up in the song selections since he last played too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE8e9Znj1_8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0Wu3GRusgc...

Re: Warhorns Winterfest 2020

Pretty interested in this, namely for the Summoning tribute. Summoned, not Summoning. I'm assuming it's the Finnish one. "We proudly present to you, for possibly the first time EVER, a live performance celebrating the musical works of Summoning! Performing as a full live band, "Summoned&q...

Re: Next Announcement

I'm happy with it, only seen Devin once and I didn't really know his stuff then and since I've got really into him so it'll be great to see a headline show. Gloryhammer are a bit of fun too, Jinjer is the only bad bit of the announcement for me.

Re: Next Announcement

So guesses are for Devin, Priest and Volbeat as headliners, with mercyful fate and opeth as subs? I don't like Volbeat or Opeth but I'd take that. No doubt it won't be that good though. I'd take that, can't stand Volbeat but they're worth it if it means getting Fate. my thoughts on the announcement...

Agreed, truth be told it was mainly the set list that spoilt the show for me, performance wise however they were good and I'd still go see them again.

Re: Download Festival 2020

I've never been one to be all that annoyed about the recycling of headliners at DL or any festival for that matter (that might have something to do with my Maiden obsession). In all seriousness though I just look at older bands being booked as 'well at least I can see them again'. There's years and ...

I mean Manowar is never going to happen, but still we can all dream. That said I wasn't all that impressed by their Birmingham show this year.

Maybe they'll be announced on the 30th as special guests to Volbeat? I hope anyway, headline would be better though.

Re: Next Announcement

Download still have a gap for another special guest, wouldn't surprise me if Priest are under Kiss again. I've also heard people mention Mercyful Fate being on Downloads Dogtooth stage, which had Carcass and At The Gates headline last year. Fingers crossed they play BOA though. I've pretty much tak...
