Re: Necessity of a Smart-Phone

My last couple have been Huaweis, which are freakin awesome. Same, also got one of their tablets which is also great. Shame they fell out with Google, I've got no idea what to go for when my upgrade is due in a few months. Don't fancy a phone without app store support. Loved my last Huawei but didn...

Re: Outdoor Gigs

There's a tiny new venue opening here that's got it's first gig tomorrow. 3 locals acts, tickets were for a table of 2, 3, 4 or 6 people. Don't know how they're handling things like drinks etc, would've gone but mrs is on a night shift that night.

Re: VIP questions

You can't move them they're all set up in a section of the field together, it's more like you're renting it for a few days.

Re: worst band on the lineup ?

Going Skindred on this, seen them live twice and find them utterly atrocious, not particularly musically but Benji won't shut the fuck up and actually play any songs. He's annoying as fuck.

Obviously it's Phil Anselmo

Re: Next Announcement

I wonder if New Blood/Jager will still be predominantly M2TM bands or they'll take more bands from submissions and the like. Plenty of time for them to work things like that out.

Re: Next Announcement

Aye watched the video last night and thought it was really good. And whilst we've all given Vicky some stick for a few band selections over the years I've certainly never seen some of the things she's described as receiving on here. I'm gonna continue to live in blind hope of Manowar playing eventua...

Re: Next Announcement

Oh of course my bad, I was reading it as 92% of 2020 capacity rolled over, not 92% of sold tickets rolled over. They could have only sold 1000 at that point. But yeah 78% sold for next year's fest at this stage sounds good to me.
