Re: Next Announcement

A bunch of Jager bands and not a mention made of the government delaying reopening. Me thinks they are burying their heads in the sand. tbf what is there to say? Current government plans are still to remove all social distancing measures before Bloodstock. There's no suggestion that things like tes...

Re: Next Announcement

The difficulty with fighting infection rates this time round is they're having to rely purely on vaccination as no additional restrictions are being implemented. This should be enough to get it over with vaccinations going so well, the question is whether it's quick enough to keep BOA happening.

Re: Next Announcement

From everything that's been put out there, I'm guessing it's a case of - as long as the restrictions do lift on the 19th then it can happen. Pretty sure Adam Gregory was quoted somewhere as saying the decision cut-off is mid-July. Given that Boris will announce on the 12th whether 19th is viable, I...

Re: Next Announcement

I hate to be that guy... but I think I've personally decided I'm not going this year. I've had my VIP tickets since 2020, but frankly I do not believe it can be done safely. And I base that on personally not being an individual in top health along with my partner. For me, my gamble is, do I sell my...

Re: Next Announcement

They offered refunds or ticket rollovers last time, cave see any reason why they wouldn't do the same again. We're not dealing with the twats at Chic Festivals here.

Re: Next Announcement

I'd much rather have a couple of week delay whist everything's confirmed to be still going well then opening up too early and risking further restrictions would could impact BOA. That said if hospital admissions & deaths stay low for the next week we might keep 21st June. Had my second jab a wee...

Re: Next Announcement

Aye read that earlier, seemingly confirmation that there's not going to be any insurance available (which isn't really news because if it was going to happen they'd've done it months ago). All about whether Bloodstock will take the risk.

Re: Northern Ireland to Bloodstock OA 2021

East Midlands is the nearest airport but it doesn't have a train station so if you're wanting more public transport it's a bus into Derby then a train to Burton-on-Trent. Alternatively you could fly into Birmingham International which does have a train station then change at Birmingham New Street fo...

Re: Next Announcement

Hopefully Bloodstock are willing (and financially in a position) to take a punt on it going ahead. We must be pretty close to the point of no return in terms of payments for everything.
