Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

There is one section (article 8) of the EU Human Rights Law signed away by Brown in the Lisbon Treaty that gives even grooming paedophiles the right to a family life and therefore not get deported. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/rochdale-sex-abuse-gang-wins-legal-aid-to-fight-deportation-z0g3l7...

Re: Three Tremors UK Tour

Each of the tremors I've seen in at least 2 bands. I will probably go to Sheffield.

Re: The rather morbid celebrity RIP Thread.

Gutted. Absolute legend.
I went to see Monty Python at the O2 Arena a few years back. Laughed my arse off until I could laugh no more. And then I laughed some more.

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Love both Dimmu and Amorphis. Tales is one of my favourite albums ever. I think Amorphis played as many as 3 songs from it (Thousand Lakes including). Dimmu were great IMO. Amorphis were beyond awesome.

Re: Next Announcement

Very disappointed with this announcement. 2 great bands that we can see whenever. I was hoping for Mercyful Fate but now it looks like they'll be playing everywhere else but the UK.

Re: Next Announcement

I haven't posted on these forums for a while but I quite like all 4 announcements which is a first. Having said that, none of them would seal the deal if I was undecided but still, they're a nice addition to the festival line-up. Life of Agony - allow me to quote myself: River Runs Red is a classic ...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: JAG PANZER at Camden Underworld. They are one of my favourite bands and it was their first time in London. It was my 4th time seeing them. Very poorly attended.
Next: probably Fleetwood Mac in London

Over here as in UK or London specifically, cause they played Brofest a few years ago.
I also saw them at Wacken 2001. I used to love this band. I like Root, too. Don't listen to the other 2.

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last - 8th time seeing Dead Can Dance at Hammersmith Apollo last night. Worst one so far. Brendan was so off key it was painful to watch. I don't think he can't sing anymore, he still has a powerful voice but yesterday was not his day. Next: 9th time seeing Dead Can Dance also at Hammersmith Apollo ...
