Re: Demons & Wizards Festival Warm-Up Shows - UK/EU

I've decided not to go mainly due to the fact that they're a bit shit. I love their respective bands though

Re: Moonspell and Rotting Christ - London 29.10.19

They toured together once before - in 1996 (Moonspell + Rotting Christ + Samael). What a gig that was. Best time for this kind of music. Think I saw Moonspell with lacuna coil supporting around that time. It must have been a few years later because L.C., whom I dislike profoundly, did not release t...

Re: Life of Agony UK Tour

River Runs Red is a classic but all the rest a joke. They evaded me for years until last year when I decided to go see them on their own turf (Bowery Ballroom, NYC). I might do Birmingham

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: JAG PANZER at Camden Underworld. They are one of my favourite bands and it was their first time in London. It was my 4th time seeing them. Very poorly attended.
Next: probably Fleetwood Mac in London

Over here as in UK or London specifically, cause they played Brofest a few years ago.
I also saw them at Wacken 2001. I used to love this band. I like Root, too. Don't listen to the other 2.

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last - 8th time seeing Dead Can Dance at Hammersmith Apollo last night. Worst one so far. Brendan was so off key it was painful to watch. I don't think he can't sing anymore, he still has a powerful voice but yesterday was not his day. Next: 9th time seeing Dead Can Dance also at Hammersmith Apollo ...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: Manowar in Birmingham last night. Performance: 9/10. Setlist: 1/10. In what universe was it "fan favourites only"? Still, they are my favourite metal band ever and i had goosebumps and shivers down my spine multiple times.
Next: Keep It True, Germany - this one's always a corker.

Re: Who is "The Greatest Metal Band" of all time?

MANOWAR are my all time favourite band but objectively it is always going to be Iron Maiden before Metallica. What makes them a better band in my view is that unlike Metallica they've never departed from the path once chosen whereas a case can be made for Metallica selling out. Metallica are more po...
