Re: Alcohol free beer?
Absolutely. Its great for people who either dont drink or just want something that isnt boozy and not juice/coke/whatever else. For pregnant women and drivers too. Bars and pubs always say its harder to make money these days but I think this is one way forward. It's a lot harder to find than you thi...

Alcohol free beer?
Does anyone have any idea if any of the bars stock alcohol free beer?
A friend is driving us down and doesn't like sugary/fizzy drinks. Wondered if anyone has seen or purchased any in previous years.
Also means not having to drink just water and missing out as such.
Ta!

Re: spirit bar / bigger selection of spirits
I like the idea, but I imagine the prices would be ridiculous. Jagers already a bit over the top for me other than one or two a day and they sponsor the place. How much do they charge for that usually? I think I've bought probably 10 drinks or less in the arena throughout all of the Bloodstocks I'v...

Re: Deal Makers
Hmmmm.. don't think there are many bands I'm yet to see that would make Bloodstock an absolute must... off the top of my head though:
While Heaven Wept
Nightwish
Visions of Atlantis
Kalmah
God Dethroned
Falkenbach (as mentioned above, if they ever actually play live)

All booked for Madrid and Paris in November. All being well I should be able to catch Gamma Ray and Carcass on my way before the Nightwish gig on the 25th!

Re: What pissed you off today
The fuck have they done to Last fm? Used to use the search by location function to find gigs at certain times in other cities/countries but all it will show me is London?
No other site had such a feature with a comprehensive index of gigs. Getting on my tits!

Re: What pissed you off today
Went to the doctors after a lifetime of shit skin and my boyfriend constantly nagging me to see a dermatologist, for them to just say 'Oh it's not that bad, just try some face wash' :| :ugh: I honestly don't think I have ever seen your skin bad at all. It's all relative though. I always used to be ...

Re: What pissed you off today
Applied for my passport through check & send 8 weeks ago, provided my original birth certificate, my mothers, then my parents' marriage documents at their request, all of which were accepted and returned. A bit later on I had my interview.. over a month (and 4-5 phonecalls to the office later) ...

Re: What pissed you off today
Aye ive already rang several times and theyve assured me its being dealt with, but how close can you actually get to the date of travel? Christ  Not sure if the office I went to actually issues the passports or was just a place to hold the interviews... I may ring them back again tomorrow night...

Re: What pissed you off today
Yeah they do an interview as standard now for first time adult passport applications. Had to go to some office in Leeds. Still not heard from them. I have no idea what else to do at this point? I'm assuming if it doesn't arrive I just can't go, there aren't any temporary measures that would allow me...

Usually get it from Aldi/Lidl (can't remember which one is nearest my house) for £1.25 but given that Waitrose is pretty much on my doorstep I may have to wander over tomorrow!

Re: Trivial Grumblings
Laptop screen has been cracked. Ugh. Left it in the living room, I certainly don't recall standing on it but I don't suppose anyone else in the house would admit to it if they did. Had it for 2.5 yrs so I suppose it's not too bad. No idea what to go for next!

Re: The Relationships Thread
On a different note does anyone else ever feel like it's almost impossible to become attached to the idea of someone/a partner? As much as I feel like I try there almost seems to be some kind of disconnection that happens in my brain which seems to render me unable to become besotted with a potentia...
