Re: MESHUGGAH AND HELLOWEEN CONFIRMED FOR BLOODSTOCK 2023
Not listened to them in a good few years, but Helloween is the best announcement so far.

Re: Next announcement
Interesting to see In Flames announced after 16 years since they last played. They haven't produced anything worth listening to in the in-between years, so unless they're planning on only playing their older stuff, I'll be elsewhere.

Re: Bloodstock's Green Initiative
Last time they tried this there were complaints that there were people stealing half-drunk cups, hopefully that didn't happen this time. Interesting that the event info page still talks about the reusable cups. Not sure if they're still a thing. Didn't buy any drinks on site because, yet again, they...

Re: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly BOA 2022
As one of the other two who wore a mask (FFP3), I came back fine. :D . Bet your suntan is interesting.... fortunately it wasn't too bad. My biggest concern was during the queue to get in on Thursday, not sure if I had an obvious tan line after that, but it seemed to have faded/merged in with ...

Re: Rate The Bands BOA 2022
Not a comprehensive list of bands I watched (a lot of what I watched, I don't know the names of) Thursday: - Nekrogoblikon: 7/10, fun band to open the weekend with. Felt bad for whomever was dressed as the goblin, and wasn't surprised to see they disappeared for long periods (presumably to take thei...

Re: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly BOA 2022
Good: - Saw some familiar faces, although lack of a forum meet and/or worthwhile bands to watch on the Mainstage (meaning I rarely visited the Rock Soc tent) meant I didn't see everyone I was hoping to - Good weather (albeit too hot at times) - Didn't get sunburnt at all - Came well prepared so I di...

They used the whole things for some of Lamb of God too, but yeah seemed like a bit of a waste.

Re: Next announcement
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the 2023 announcement was completely lackluster. Megadave and Killswitch Engage headlining, and some nobodies (including King 810, whom we can only hope multiple members get arrested before the fest this time and force them to cancel). Here's hoping for some better announceme...

Re: The Weather Thread
Feck me, BBC's now predicting 36℃ for Saturday. Be safe people. Remember there are water points in the campsites (especially when the queues for the arena waterpoints have more people in them than there are people watching the current mainstage band. >_>

Re: It’s going to be hot, so….
Would be fun, but remember that England has a water shortage and some parts have hosepipe bans and are at risk of drought (not sure if Derbyshire is or not), so a mass water fight may not be deemed appropriate.

Re: IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE BBQ's
For the tent campsites this was the policy already, wasn't it? If not, I'm a gullible bastard for only using my trangia at BBQ pits all these years. :c It was but it hasn't really been enforced. The security only really enforced bbqs by tents (I say enforced - it was very hit and miss, mostly miss)...
